Do you have a log for this?
It sounds like there's an issue in the vending logic - perhaps your inventory isn't empty enough for the profile to run?

It looks like your protected item file is broken.

The type initializer for 'Styx.CommonBot.Profiles.ProtectedItemsManager' threw an exception. ---> System.IO.IOException: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

I dont know what items that is incorectly copy-paste.
But after I got your explanation, I try to re-install HB.
And there is no other same problem again.

It appears if you die with an unused artifact boost in your inventory, one of the threaded handlers will keep trying to use the artifact (spamming it, in fact) and you fail to run out and reclaim your body-- it hangs at the spirit healer.
 
something terrible happening with the horde bc profile. im on day 5 and still only lvl 66
i got lucky last night and it grinded talbuks overnight for 2 levels. the first time it actually ran for more than a couple hours at a time.

now im in nagrand and it is just acting stupid flying back and forth, trying to pick up quests already picked up.

Sorry for the delay,

Do you perhaps have a log for this?
The hook for running the artifact power boost shouldn't be running while IsDead or IsGhost - the only thing I could guess is it's getting stuck within the foreach().

Interesting - I'll check it out.
It could be something related to how HonorBuddy's new navigation system handles that area.

Unfortunately the Burning Crusade profiles aren't in such a great state right now.
The a mix of the new navigation system and the Blizz-end issue breaking the <Objective/> logic has brought a heavy toll on the overall performance.

I've been smashing most bugs that I've come across, but at this point the 60-70 profiles are calling for a complete rehaul.
And really, 1-90 as a whole needs to be remastered.

Thanks for this report, I'll check out the logs and see what can be done as a temporary patch.
 
thanks EchoTiger. the first couple of quests in northrend are doing the same. toon is attempting to pick up the second or third quest instead of talking to garrosh first.

i powered through the nagrand content and did the first couple of quests manually in northrend. seems to be working fine for the last couple hours.

i will refrain from posting more 1-90 bugs until you find some free time. thanks for everything, we appreciate everything you do even if we dont take the time to come and say it.
 
Blood DK chain-dying during Blood-DK Artifact Quest Stage 10 @Line 268 (Rev $5835):

Is on his way to grab Maw of the Damned and runs thru "fel creep" and dies.
Resurrects in fel creep and instead moving on sits down to eat food and dies from fel creep ... rinse and repeat.

Is it possible to add fel creep spots as black spot?
There is save path between to fel creep spots. So the char could reach the weapon w/o running thru fel creep.

Try emptying your bags / selling before starting the profile.

Quite off-topic I guess, but why is Honorbuddy still being shipped with a hard-copy of the profiles?
As soon as you log in with your license you'll have access to the store where you can find up-to-date profiles.

Questbot defaults to "Auto-Loader v2" within the default profile directory on a fresh install.
So you could actually download Honorbuddy, run it and push "Start" out of the box to have it immediately going without any setup at all.

I believe it was done this way for people who have larger botting setups.
They can schedule HBRelog to start up their 100+ accounts without having to touch any of the profile loading process.
 
Questbot issue

Hey Echo i've got an issue with QuestBot, autoloader on my level 100 retribution paladin. I tried doing an installation from scratch several times but the bot keeps just doing one thing and then stops, funny thing though if i mount up it does one thing again and then stops. Its quite a big problem for me. No one else seems to have this issue, please help. Thank you. I'll attach a log file, also i tried doing some extra quests myself for the bot, that didnt work.
