I am almost certain that Blizz has access to all the tools that we ourselves have access too to spoof or hide IP addresses, as well as a number of other ways to mask their identity so the HB/GB team may have a hard time isolating them from the rest of the masses, but then again I don't think these guys are quite human(perhaps...roBOTs?...yeah I know...sorry just had to), so they may be aware of them, but they likely won't and shouldn't tell us if they do.

I mean I think we all know that not every Blizzard employee sits at a desk in Irvine, California. I applied for a few security related jobs for Blizzard in Irvine, CA a few years ago but turned it down as the economy wasn't ideal for uprooting my family from the east coast of the US to the west coast...they wouldn't even offer relocation assistance!!! bastards, LOL. Their loss, but I love my current job of 7 years... my 'white hat' fits nicely Anywho, the jobs at Blizz were pretty cutting edge IT security, red team, vulnerability testing, and all that stuff. So if they are concerned about what comes in.. you can be sure they control what we see from them as well.

Blizz has the money to do what they want, and they have the people they need, whenever they get pissed off enough at gb/hb they will take action. nothing hidden about that. and unless the devs here read o's and 1's <matrix> someone is feeding them information

I am 100% FINE with the downtime for the safety of my account, however if HB1 is done for along with RAF and stable grinding/pvp/etc, I have every right to be bitching.

Complaints about the BETA stem from the fact that is is a BETA. We don't have a fully functioning product despite what we've paid for. I distinctly purchased Honorbuddy RaF and am no longer able to use the feature.

There are no qualms with HB2 being in BETA.

I do agree with Apoc but I also agree with this guy.
Im defently not bitching about the DT or whatever, however i really wish we would have some support still with HB1.

On the plus side, europeans rejoice! Finally, americans getting a patch first means minimal downtime for us (chances are the bot will be fixed up properly for the EU release of 3.3.5)

Sigh... I'll clear up a few misconceptions that seem to be quite rampant.

1) Warden 2 is a 'known release' mainly due to the new Battle.net being deployed with WoW this patch. (Battle.net 2) This pretty much means Warden needs to be changed to support the new RealID system, among other things. (They now have much more power)

2) They implemented a nifty security measure (pulled from SC2) which is a big red flag. (But again; not very important)

3) The HB/GB team are shutting it down to keep you idiots safe. If you really can't wait a week (or less) to bot, then go somewhere else and complain to them when your account is banned. Just be happy they're forcing you to not bot, so you don't get yourself banned. (It's a lot more than I can say about other bots)

4) HB1 will most likely still be 'usable' however it will also likely be feature/version locked. (AKA: No more updates. Only updates so it 'works with the new patch')

5) HB2 is STILL IN BETA. The bugs are part of a beta. If you guys can't tell the difference between a full release version (RTM) and a beta (CTP) then you really have no room to complain. Report the bugs you find, and stop bitching about it. The devs can't fix things they don't know about, or can't reproduce. (FYI: A bug report isn't "it runs into a wall". Where does it run into a wall? What faction are you? What was the bot trying to do? Etc.)

I'm honestly saddened that you guys have the balls to bitch about them taking measures to make you safe.

This is the reason old members don't like to do anything for the community anymore because it has gotten bigger with people that can't think straight and only set the mind on bot bot bot bot, and bitching/complaining.
as stated we are doing beta's, if its not working its good that we have that now instead of in a stable version, so try to understand that and upload a log if you have problems!

Hope the communitie will shrink again, was much more fun.

I'm amazed by the amount of brainless people there are that don't understand that BETA means "Testing Phase". No software can be released 100% without a Beta. You don't go out and buy a plant and just expect it too grow on its own do you? It needs some good old TLC before it can reach it's potential. I agree with Apoc 100% and before you even think too bitch and moan, post your log and the bug and

I am going to have to agree with Apoc. People are bitching way to much about HB, when in fact it is probably the best bot on the market, and the Dev's care enough to monitor Warden Changes and disable on the turn of a key to protect everyone from being banned.

For everyone that is bitching about the stability of HB2, I don't see where you are coming from. I have 2 characters that are 80 from grinding and PVP. and 1 that is 49 so far form questing. When I find a problem, I will post about it. Bitching and complaining saying it isn't stable doesn't help unless you say something. For all you know your little "stability" issue is a 2 second fix if they could see a log file of what is happening. It is just disappointing that people assume by paying for product that it should work perfectly, and that the Dev's should respond to every cry and need immediately. Yes, you did pay for it, yes you deserve support, but for the love of god, be a patient, the Dev Team isn't growing nearly as fast as this community. People just need to take a deep breath and look and see how far a long this bot has come in such a short time.

Think about it, patch is life on us servers, hb is close to support that patch.
Why the hell shouldnt we be able to bot when the same patch hits our servers?
Unless security tests take sooo much longer than exspected..
