With all the idiots screaming because of HB/GB downtime. I say you post an announcement on the boards, say something like you WILL be banned if you use this, then turn the servers on.

Let these same idiots who complain get themselves banned, so we don't have to hear them whine anymore!

it's in .rar format when you extract it you will extract it to a created folder for beta and then when you just run the blizzard installer and it will install the cataclysm beta

but you have to have a hacked private server to play on right? i know private server's aren't allowed to be discussed here - but if that's the case please PM me.

Im guessing you are talking about the cracked Alpha release.. (the one thats bugged to hell.. cant do any of the new quests.. and can only really explore/transform into a worgen)

Because technically it is not detected because nobody is using Gatherbuddy/Honorbuddy. Just like you can't see what is not there.

Props to the buddy team for being upfront about the amount of time it might take. Take your time and make sure we're as close to safe as possible. I'll be ready to bot the moment the coast is clear.

Sigh... I'll clear up a few misconceptions that seem to be quite rampant.

1) Warden 2 is a 'known release' mainly due to the new Battle.net being deployed with WoW this patch. (Battle.net 2) This pretty much means Warden needs to be changed to support the new RealID system, among other things. (They now have much more power)

2) They implemented a nifty security measure (pulled from SC2) which is a big red flag. (But again; not very important)

3) The HB/GB team are shutting it down to keep you idiots safe. If you really can't wait a week (or less) to bot, then go somewhere else and complain to them when your account is banned. Just be happy they're forcing you to not bot, so you don't get yourself banned. (It's a lot more than I can say about other bots)

4) HB1 will most likely still be 'usable' however it will also likely be feature/version locked. (AKA: No more updates. Only updates so it 'works with the new patch')

5) HB2 is STILL IN BETA. The bugs are part of a beta. If you guys can't tell the difference between a full release version (RTM) and a beta (CTP) then you really have no room to complain. Report the bugs you find, and stop bitching about it. The devs can't fix things they don't know about, or can't reproduce. (FYI: A bug report isn't "it runs into a wall". Where does it run into a wall? What faction are you? What was the bot trying to do? Etc.)

I'm honestly saddened that you guys have the balls to bitch about them taking measures to make you safe.

Complaints about the BETA stem from the fact that is is a BETA. We don't have a fully functioning product despite what we've paid for. I distinctly purchased Honorbuddy RaF and am no longer able to use the feature.

There are no qualms with HB2 being in BETA.

I don't remember ever reading a statement from anybody saying that HB1 is officially 'dead'. An offset update for it is very likely. (Given that it takes all of 10 minutes to do, and really doesn't hinder anything)

Correct, all previous versions that have been released won't work. That's not to say an offset-updated release won't happen. (Note that I don't actually know if it will or not, its not up to me)

I'm honestly saddened that you have the balls to bitch about us bitching about not having a paid-for-product. I am fine with them taking the bot down for a week, however, when something is in beta, we should still have a fully-functional stable bot to bot with(WHAT WE PAID FOR, THANKS MR.APOC). A lot of people don't care about the downtime, they are more pissed about the dis-continuing of HB1, which was stable and fully-functional. HB2 is not fully functional at the moment, and many people won't be happy until it is stable or HB1 is back again and stable.

How do people not understand that it's going to cost a heck of a lot more to attempt to bot now before these guys make sure Warden 2 is defeated than it is to wait a week or two. Freaking McDonald's generation in full force in this thread.

GB/HB team: I've only had the product like a week but great job and take your time getting it right. Your product has made it possible for me to have a bit more fun in WoW than I would otherwise had.
