Well, I am glad because I was about to renew, but I was banned as well. I don't like playing WoW without a PvE combat bot, so this is probably it for me. GLHF everyone.

Bad excuses from the team. you have to understand that they can now say badly the bot is discovered you can not use it any longer. so hb would be bankrupt. so keep them happy and try to make money. that is fact.

Honorbuddy team, you guys are amazing and thank you for the work you have been putting into making sure your Bot is as safe as possible.

Second, I've been botting on 2 accounts since Honorbuddy came back up. The only account suspended was the one active during the first tripwire event(stayed offline for tripwire event #2) and again while the banwave went live. The other account however, stopped running the bot 4-5 hours before tripwire, and still used it yesterday.(went to "sleep" 2-3 hours before the bans started), and that account is still alive and well.

It sucks that they detected it, it sucks some of you guys got a 1.5year+ suspension. BUT that is a risk you KNOWINGLY take when you purchase and use this. Sure I'm a bit upset for having a 6month suspension, but I know very well it's MY FAULT for using a bot in the first place.

Either way bossland will have my support until the very end.

didnt use hb at all this time and got hit. dosent rly matter what i used. Remember that blizzard is working hard with tons of more resources to fight bots then we have ppl working to avoid the detection methods and new methods are being developed every single day.

its a lost game rly. If you connect a third party software to a wow account you will get banned one day! its only a matter of time. you will never be able to keep your account forever if you bot. so if you like to bot, do it. just know that its a fact that one day that account is closed. and you make a new one

I have engaged in a number of risky behaviors (botting with Tripwire off before 892, basically suiciding my account with the full belief I'd get banned). Amazingly enough, though I was sure I'd get detected, my account is still safe.

I wasn't online when the wave hit, so maybe that's why.

Either way, still want to say a big thanks to the HB team for working so hard.

Banned yesterday (6 Months, no appeal) just using HB to level a couple toons 6-8 hrs a day. Nothing else. Always used new HB version and no other bot programs. This is my one and only acct. I knew the risks, but I also did everything recommended to prevent a ban. Not happy.

As most of you have already noticed, Blizzard rolled a big banwave this morning. As far as we know, every
single bot/tool for WoW got fully hit.

It was already known most of the bots were already detected and that is why it took Honorbuddy more than
a month to adapt to new detection vectors.

Honorbuddy is not detected by the same detection vectors as other bots. Honorbuddy was partially detected
during the first tripwire event on October 10th which have been pushed to target us directly. After Tripwire
reacted to the new detection vector and the event was analyzed, it was assumed that only a few accounts
would get flagged by it. However, it is clear now that it affected a wider audience.

Here is a summary of our beliefs:

• The new detection on October 10th was rolled out in waves
• Tripwire was able to react only when it saw the new detection
• As of this moment, Honorbuddy 892+ is undetected.

Our beliefs are supported by the facts that we lost only half of the online sessions when the banwave hit, and
people who only ran 892+ are not banned.

Improvements are already being done on Tripwire to avoid such flaws for future attempts.

We strongly suggest everyone to NOT use any other bots/tools as majority of them are still detected and
to not use Honorbuddy on your beloved accounts.

so what is the official word here? Why are posters saying they only ran 892+ and are banned.

It took more than 1 month to make the necessary changes and they still did the same as your ass, I got banned for 1 year, I lost my account, the money I spent on Honorbuddy and everything else, HB never again .....

What about our keys?

I literally bought a 3month 1 session key hours before banwave. I have 1 account and just use hb to play the game, not for profit. I'm not going to spend another $65 for legion +30days and just risk another ban. I sent in a request to have my key paused or reset to "new" so hopefully they help me out. I'd rather just wait until the ban is over and try again.

Checked all three of my bots today when I heard there was a ban wave. I stopped botting the day before all the tripwire events happened and I haven't botted since then.

I just activated an old account i had tucked away in case of a ban. It's hasn't even been touched by HB until today using version 893. It was automatically banned while questing in less than an hour. I was watching it the whole time.

There was one guy in discord that posted a screen shot of 8-boxing where 6 accounts got hit and 2 survived. All accounts were brand new battlechests started after the second tripwire and running on 892. Explain that one please.

I mean... why do this? Bot went up after 1.5 months downtime, tripwire next day - you immediately state "all good happy botting". tripwire again after a few days, and everyone banned after 7 days.

It's crystal clear you have no clue what is going on, and the tripwire does jack and shit. There is no way you know for sure 892+ is undetected. especially since there are numerous reports of bans with precisely 892+.

keeping the authenticator running as if nothing's happened is not fair to any new customers or those coming back. at least take a few days and run some test accounts to see if they get auto-banned lol.

I had a new account that was inactive for several months that I never used for botting. I attached 893 to it and ran some quests while watching it. It was banned and i was kicked off in less than hour. In the middle of gameplay i got the notice and my character was logged off. Didn't seem to be from play reports.

with my last bann they deleted every inventory of every toon and took al gold on those toons too. GB they didnt touch
