I'll be on the lookout for the adamantite thing again and if I see one I'll immediately grab the log.

What I can say for sure is this morning in 3-4 hours I came up with a shit ton of chysahl and cuprite but it seems to be failing somewhere on a couple things. Like there's the node for morel. It's nearby. But I watched it elect to hover. I tried to help steer it but it flew back to the place it was waiting. And then turning off the bot and putting myself at the node and turning it back on resulted in it trying to move along in the timetable to the next area

And I had not a single abalathian mistletoe. I only picked those 4 things as they were my non folklore redscrip and highest blues.

As far as ephemerals go, my idea of running purely ephemeral was to get rare sand types and hq sand for the marketboard, as buying odorless fat is bleeding me dry. So I was aiming for radiant or other more significant type rocks to get the maximum score on. I've gotten an insane amount of clusters and crystals, but I really want the land/leaf/seaborne sands

Correct.

Likely you should just upgrade your head piece with the blue scrip one if you have enough. Likely you only need 20ish more perception to do a rotation that will guarantee you at least one.

You will get tons of crystals and clusters, but the only way to get the most rare sands is with the 550 rotation.. There is an alternate somewhere to get 450+ which will target dawnborne and lower.

You can grab logs from the /logs folder.

The issue with the morel sounds like you didn't have enough hp for the gather, but without the log it would be hard to tell. Troubleshooting is 10 times easier with a log as I spent a lot of time logging useful information.

@edit: it sounds like the author might need to use some partial hour checks ie Condition.IsTimeBetween(8.5,9.2) instead of IsTimeBetween(8,9) in some places =). 9.2 is 9:12. this is just an example, every .05 is 3 in game minutes.

I've had a hectic couple of days thus my ability to let it mindlessly farm for me so much of the last two days. As the week goes on and I experiment with it more, I'll definitely be posting logs.

On the plus side, since making that post, I have gotten some cuprite. Praise Jebus.

I had that exact same idea as far as maybe more specificity with the times to allow it to wind down ephemeral/yolo or leave waiting area and head to the target that matters, because I think we'd all prefer the bot think something like "uh oh its 1130 I better get my shit and hit the road" as opposed to "oh its 12... i'll probably make it." as the bot puts its pants on while driving down the freeway hoping to god he's not too late.

Ephemeral only (for those of you who might be like me and have experienced sea of clouds botting for favors to be less than stellar thanks to a ridiculous amount of layers and massive obstacles) is an amazing way to make money and sustain your own crafting. On my server, HQ of the Leaf/land/seaborne ones run something like 250-300k gil a pop. I can cap on red scrips 10 times over with 480-510 range chysahl being my only income for red. I'd love to farm the hell out of blue so I can unlock more folklore, but given my current experience with trying to loot anything in sea of clouds or hinterlands being occasionally hinky (though sea is probably the smoothest for ephemeral after the area in front of anyx trine in forelands. Leave that baby on overnight running ephemeral only plus chysahl and you're set for two weeks on red scrip cap and potentially a truckload of gil in your bag. Just leave the turn in option off as it tends to prioritize that over unspoiled windows currently. That seemed to be what happened when I watched my character walk around idyllshire instead of getting the hell across the map.

Here's a thought - with the notifiers like BLACK Soil, RADIANT Fire Moraine, and BRIGHT Fire Rock (or even the 56 vs 60 requirement to reduce) is it not possible to flag them in a way that allows an option for the absolute best possible score? The way adamantite and chrysahl are in the top options area. Create the conditions and then attach to the option under ephemeral to treat spotting a radiant/bright/whatever as though it were adamantite. Like, sure if you have crap gear, don't go for it. You'd be wasting nodes But people like myself, and i suspect like many of you, who have full right side green pentamelded could benefit a whole hell of a lot from that. I've since seen more variation in the last little while when I've had a chance to poke my head into my room to look at my screen. I do see some ephemeral products getting higher ratings. I did even see one with a 500 something score, of course it was just a regular. Meanwhile a Radiant Fire Moraine was only 324. Yikes.


Just for funsies, I thought I'd share my haul of collectibles accumulated since things seemed to have straightened out shortly after i first edited my previous post. I disengaged turnin since that seemed to be what screwed me out of at least one cuprite while I was present to observe in horror and who knows how many times something like that happened while I was afk.

Red Quartz - 466 459 467 468 468 461 468 465 466 (this little island north of ok'zundu seems to be the single most reliable high value blue scrip node I've found)
Adamantite - 488 488 483 491 485 484
Cuprite - 468 462 462
Chysahl - 482 486 488 489 486
So at least it's doing most of those well. I also just 565'd a radiant lightning moraine because the bot got stuck for a second. feels good.


Anyway, I think this is an awesome profile and with a little more tweaking it can be perfect. I just think there's a couple of places where it's not so helpful if you've put plenty of gil into your gear and can handle the big boy stuff to make big boy gil, and I don't think it would take huge fixes to exploit that level of utility


PS - I figure furrymint refers to Fury Mint or whatever, but I'm not sure what the point of the quantity entry is there. Maybe I'm dumb and not reading entrax's comment right, but what exactly happens when you put something besides "0" there? If anyone gets the time, I would loooooove someone to make a guide in a nutshell to properly using each little section up at the top of this profile. I know all about rotations. A clever choice of buttons and some luck got me 4 chysahl's over 500 from the one node. So it would be great if I understood those sections of profile function options code better. That'd be great in the mean time - until hopefully some heroic nerd comes forward to create the megabucks ephemeral showcase profile. I'm just missing something in the lingo I guess on how to best make those options work for me. Something like "okay, this line does this and some options to put here are X Y and Z"


Not sure they're super relevant because of having to stop and start to save myself from horrible things, but here's some logs. One's a log that ended early afternoon I think. The other is as of right now.

PPS - Since starting to type this, I have managed to get no more cuprite than the 3 above which were already in my bag when I decided to make a post. So since 4:30ish, grinding almost the whole time minus a couple of stops to do a little business or check retainers, That's 3 hours and no cuprite. Not that it looted anything else from that node, either. Hopefully you can pull something from it. The one earlier in the day may have captured the adamantite issue, I'm not sure. I looked through the second one. It seems to have a lot of my raw material farming from last night on it, as well. Then it shifts into collectible mode when i can convert my old white accessories and put on greens

Hi entrax, I was wondering if it was possible to make the bot not use any skills when in YOLO Farm mode, in order to always have 600+ GP when going to an unspoiled node?

Because now I use Yolo farm + Unspoiled node and I have to use cordial in order to make it work

Hi Entrax after have set the profile to gather what i need i have 2 problem:
1) With AbathianMisteltoe the bot open the 7th slot and not the 3rd.
2) With Morel the bot after teleport to Ildlyshire try to use aetheret and then after few sec mount a chocobo and run like a loop.

Sorry for my poor english. Can you help? I need to do something? Or change some string?

You do realize the bot is turning in the collectables for you right? It is getting plenty of Cuprite. You will average more Cuprite using the 450 rotation instead of 470. You will get 3 per instead of about 2.7 average. You will also be able to be more likely to collect if you run out of cordials as it will collect 1 Cuprite for each 200 gp used (it will determine automatically if you can only use 200/400/600 gp based on some math).

If you set furymint to any number but 0, i believe it will gather them instead of collect/reduce. You will need someone more familiar with this profile to tell you for sure.

No issues stick out in the logs.

Like i said in post 864, You can't guarantee 8/8 with any rotation. The 550 rotation should yield you the most leaf/land sand per hour. An other option is 460, which will get you more dawnborne with your leaf/land instead of duskborne. It could be a relatively good rotation to use now (if it existed), nobody has coded it yet.

I wanted to say thanks to everyone who has helped me by using ExBuddy. I really think the stuff we have here in addition to some other botbases/orderbot profiles make RB great.

No, I didn't have it set to turn in at the time as far as I'm aware. If it was turning in cuprite, it wasn't turning in anything else because on multiple occasions i might have had a dozen chysahls and 8 adamantites and a few mistletoes in my bag but something kept happening down at that end of hinterlands that I just don't know. That wasn't until later that i turned that on because I got tired of clicking. I left it off initially in order to track how my progress went. Then I just turned it back off because two times in a row that it went to do it, it resulted in causing a window to be missed. The turnin is a small convenience I can live without.

And yeah, I think thats what the furrymint line is about now. It's a callback to the ephemeral profile we were talking in just now. I hadn't seen the other before, and therefore didn't catch the reference.

Anyway, I'm good with the way the rotation is currently set all around. Like I said in the ephemeral thread - it might not be perfect but it certainly works and it works well. I'm super appreciative of the work of you guys who know the coding. I just try to put it to the best use I can and report whatever possible issues that I come across in order to help you refine the project. I certainly don't expect it to be perfect as it's just ones and zeroes making educated guesses at the end of the day - so I figure constructive feedback can only make it better and then I try to give evidence of whatever issue I might experience to help you make your work the best and most reliable it can be. A better bot for you is a better bot for me, after all. I'm fairly new to game botting, but not at all to several aspects of the process of AI, logic, etc and I think the exbuddy is pretty much amazing. I'm only just now delving into the more complicated portions of it, and I'm continually surprised at just how much people are able to do by tying in with your framework

The turn in is not really friendly with reduction items, so the author(entrax) might want to think about more complex logic here to handle reducing/turning in... i know the complexity just keeps growing. There is a way to tell it specific items to turn in, but would require more configuration or editing of the profile.

2.2) Since 3.1 update, it's now possible to go outside with aetherit but you HAVE to be attuned with the little one at the North West of idylshire.

Edit: i posting as i am noticing things. Grade 3 Shroud Topsoil node sometimes is out of range of the location the node spawned so it doesn't get gathered

Edit3: Stuck at SoC after gathering Heavens Lemons

Edit 4: Heavens Lemon or Abalathian Mistletoe stuck at 140.1398, -147.8377, 557.0585

Edit 5: I run on parallel the Ephimeral Farming mode

Edit 6: Young Cidedales pops at 6am and not at 7
