[PAID] Nightmare - Richie's Shadow Priest PvP Combat Routine [Pro Edition]

I can almost never see the bot cast Mind Flay and Mind Seer, is that the way it should be? Or is something i did wrong?
 
You did nothing wrong.

The bot only casts Mind Flay if there's nothing else to cast, it's the lowest priority spell. In multi-target situations you are not supposed to see it. ever. :) You have targets to cast dots/MB/procs on instead of MF.

Mind Sear is not even in the rotation. Its single-target damage is lower than Mind Flay's and it's only better than Mind Flay if there're at least 2+ targets in Mind Sear range. If there're 2+ targets then you're better spend your time on multidotting them instead of spamming Mind Sear. :)

Theorycrafting part: For Mind Sear to be better than multidotting you need 5+ targets to be in the Mind Sear's range(Source: Shadow Priest DPS Rotation & Cooldowns - WoW 5.2 (MoP)).

In PvP it won't happen.

Any chance you can add that in for the 40 man PVP's? 5+ Targets or a changeable option. Also make it search for groups around you just like the search for dots feature not just your focused target.

Even in 15 man PVPs it happens quite a bit even on some first middle battles on small maps such as BFG at WW.

Would be nice to have that option.


Haven't looked at the new 5.3 maps ether so might even have more chances for it to be useful :)


Special addition works great! Only hiccup I run into very seldom is you need another range check when casting Mass Dispel because some times they are just a few steps outside your range if they blocked or bubbled (or they were in range and then you were running and stopped late when they blocked) and it tries to cast multiple times and pauses for about 2 seconds as it keeps trying or until you get in range. Might just be an HB issue though with range checks.


Also don't know if you can have Mass Dispel cast on fears and stuns on healers over 5 seconds or make it cast on multiple people who are fear bombed as well. If 3+ teammates are feared within 8 yards of each other cast Mass Dispel.

Added an option to set a health percent to use casted healing spells below
Added logic to Mass Dispel to target your own healers if they're CC'd
Fixed the mass dispel range issue mentioned above. If you see it happen again please send me a log.
Added support for Mind Sear. It'll be only cast if there're at least 5 ppl in a 10yd radius circle(this is the breakpoint when it gets better than multidotting). Don't expect it to happen too often though...
 
just hit 2.2k using the few things you added. gonna try push 2.4k by reset thanks for the great cr

edit: i noticed even when casted heals set to 0% as soon as im out of combat it starts to spam them till im full health this is bad if im trying to go drink because it waste a few seconds. maybe you could add the tick box back so it just doesn't use it all this gives people the choice to have them casted at a set % or just totally turn them off all together even when out of combat.

in 3v3 and playing spriest/fmage/druid. i don't do much dmg but that's not really the priests job. I off heal alot (thats why i asked for the cast heal changes) and make sure my healer isnt cced. I also keep everything dotted up and when my mage thinks he can get a kill i unload my burst and 99% of the time it ends up in a kill. the pro cr does all these things very well and im not even very geared as i switched to priest very late in the season.

Did you see it using mass dispel on Ur healer to get it out of CCs? One of the few features I added to SVN without having a chance of fully testing it.

yeah it used mass dispell to get my healer out of polly and traps. it seemed to work really well.
 
Hi Richie! I see in the dungeons CR does not heal companions. While I was only there can test its capabilities. So it should be?
 
so many nerfs to the Shadow priests to 5.3. How relevant are they in the arena?
