New PC

I was quite sure it had the space - Oh well, I might remove the 200mm fan at the top, and then make some room. We'll see, and I'll post. The case itself has a shitload of fans.

Can't wait to have it built, and post all them pictures here for you to see :-)

oh! if it has a 200mm fan on the top, then you have to remove that (as I had to remove them on my cases as well)

Yeah, we'll remove it, and then install the radiator with the 2 120mm fans I bought below. Sounds good?

Yep, that's how i did it =)

do yourself a favor... make sure you make sure all 4 fans blow **out** (up). As they are directional. usually the fan 'front' is the sucking in... and the side that mounts the motor is the 'back' or blowing out side.

In the screw kit there are 8 small screws and 8 long screws... use the 8 short screws + corsair fans for the bottom of the radiator - and the long + <extra> fans that you bought on the top and use the long screws. It is a slight hassle to try and screw in the fans with them being loose ... but it will all work out

make sure you have clearance! This is very important!

Note: you'll see <-- or --> and an up/down arrow as well (this is the rotation of the fan and where it blows out to)

Take a look at this pic - (ignore the mesh - it's supposed to go inside, but I put it on the outside bc I didn't want to put holes through it)

As you can see the place where the 120mm fans are supposed to be mounted (red) vs where they are(blue)? You may have to do this with your mid tower case (my full tower had enough room, so I didn't have to mod it)

if you don't have a ton of extra holes in your case like mine does... you may only be able to use the 2 fans that come with it... or not at all! (unless you drill holes in your new case, which is easy to do... but do it before you install your stuff lol)

Not sure I completely understand what you mean - but the guy helped me used to build tons of PCs, even did a bit of business with it himself once. I'm sure we'll work it out (Ugh, I hope!!).

FFS - They had all my merchandise, except the fucking Thermaltake chassis.

So I stood there with all my hardware,, but no chassis to build it in. As I have to build it tomorrow, I had to improvise with that they had.

I got a Cooler Master Elite 430 Chassis cheap, and then downgraded the H100 to H80, to ensure it will fit in the chassis. I think the H80 will be enough though for my PC, as I don't ever plan on botting more than five accounts.

Did I make a mistake here Kick, or will a H80 work out just fine for me, with no overclocking and not pushing the PC to the limit?

the h80 is fine, but i'd rather spend the extra $20 and get the h100 (i have 3x h100's... 2 in my comps, 1 still in the box just in case shit happens)

Yeah so would I - but the salesman didnt think the H100 would fit in this tiny chassis - so annoyed right. The Thermaltake also looked awsome, this only looks average.

I think H100 is overkill for a botting computer. As long as your CPU doesnt go over 65-70 degrees celsius at load; it is 100% fine to run it 24/7.

Just read up on the chassis - It has room for 2x120mm fans at the top - so that shoulda covered the H100 - Oh well.

The best place i've found for information has been reddit.com/r/buildapc . Very helpful and informed group of people over there and they have plenty of guides as well as monthly builds of different caliber(e.g. Beginner, intermediate, enthusiast etc etc).'

never listen to a salesman unless they actually build stuff with the actual products you're buying

as you know, I showed you pix that I built stuff myself ;)

most retail shops have glorified idiots working at them

PC build and working - didnt use two fans, but still managed to pull off 5 fans + the small 2 on the card in that small ass chassis.

Will post pictures tomorrow when I get home with it.

Jesus christ the new PC is loud and noisy compared to the old one :D - I got a shitty ass chassis aswell, with no sound reduction material, bit sad about that, but it was my only option.

New PC of Wonders - Credits to Kick

Pictures - the cables are a bit of the mess due to the crappy ass chassis, will have to work a bit on that.

Just tuck the cables to the front, they should be long enough.

Christ, did a monkey build that thing in it's sleep? Not to be rude, but your cable management is atrocious. Idk how you plan on any kind of airflow to happen in there.

Pham, congratz with your new toy, but then again, cable management requires some work. :)

MY GTX670 sounds like a bloody jet engine under load.

Even with the lowest possible speed for the rest of the case fan using the fan controller. I got nine fans in there if you count the PSU.
