Yup!

All I'm a bit worried about is the increased overhead costs to get started. It used to be just 30? for a key, now it'll probably be 30?x2.

Even so, the first few weeks of this expansion is going to be amazing, maybe even close to what it was a year ago.

Yeah, now all we need is some date and information on whether or not there will be 1.09 itemization first.

I hardly doubt there will be any itemization update before expansion, there's no point to change it cuz lvl cap will come with exp.

What does level or or paragon or exp have to do with items? They need fresh items in order for people to play. This game is based on the chance to get good item drops, nothing else. At this point there are less than 20 items which are worth anything (legendaries), only if they have near perfect roll. Changing that makes all the sens in the world to me, even before expansion. Capitalistic thinking- give people a reason to play and spend money/time. Then get out an expansion to make them spend more money/time.

but didn't it say in the presentation that Loot 2.0 will come with the expansion? I thought introducing new items means content / areas for the game therefore resulting in higher dps weapons.

Lol loot 2.0 with expansion i hope they are not that stupid by blizzard

In order 2 buy the next expansion they need to get more people to play at this moment

Indeed, i am thinking- first release the new items to lure more players back to the game and then hit them with the expansion. To me, this is the logical course to go.

I totally agree with this.

This loot 2.0 does not look good for botters imo. It seems like they want to appeal to the "self-founders" and make it easier to find high end loot. Atleast thats the impression I got.

If thats true it wont take many weeks untill the xpac will get flooded with high end items.

If they release expansion that cost money, i aint buyin it lol but i hope they wont make it.
Btw any more information about those unlimited paragon points? Like what do they give

EDIT:Post from twitter
You only need to defeat @Diablo (i.e. Act IV) to unlock Act V. Act V will require the expansion, though. :)

Expansion will definitely cost money. Like, 200% for sure, bro :)

Actually, self found/account bound is good for botters, cuz it makes botting more efficient for a fraction of the invested(in the case, more time than money). Don't be fooled by this: they just want to lure people back to the game and that is what the regular players wanted and cried about on forums. They make the most buck out of the RMAH, so there will always be items that cost money. I am sure of it ;p

Not sure if i should start playing this game lol. I just want to bot my barbarian and get some money from good loots or just bot for fun. But that cost electricity and cant game nicely other games while i sit near pc (low processor h4h4). Expansion seems to be promising but not sure if its worth to continue.

What's the MF cap for MP10 with the paragon level being unrestrricted?

This is getting interesting..I might start up a farm again..

This shit is months and months away ... id guess 4-5 months for 2.0 patch and another 2+ months for xpac at least.

BoA is in no way good for botting. It's actually 1 of the only means they have to combat botting. If all the high end items now (crit mempo / tier 1 ef's / etc ) are account bound in 2.0 then what do you plan on selling?

The smart drop thing will be current hero targeted stats and account bound imo. Anything the mystic touches will become account bound ( this is a really good thing as long as you can sell the tier 1 starting components as the mystic will act as an item sink for the economy).

It all depends on how far the push the BoA shit. Hopefully there's a lot of things left that arent bound and able to be sold. Gutting all the high end items wont eliminate bots, but it will surely put a dent in the nice little bonuses you get from time to time from high end stuff. hopefully they dont push it to far.

Looking at the xpac so far as a whole.... I think they are doing a fairly good job at getting players back and making it fun for the legit played accounts. That in itself is very important. If there are a lot of players, then everything in the game is worth more for the bots to sell. I think it will be decent, but unless the address the gold inflation problem it wont be anything like last years launch $ wise but still a big bump compared to what it is now.

paragon 2.0 sounds amazing for the game as a whole.

I just hope Blizzard doesn't fuck up once more. Screens do look nice, but again so were screenshots from D3 prior to the release.
And this BoA business is really bad news, there's even a screen with Dead man's legacy quiver as lvl70 BoA legendary. It probably means that besides new items even the existing high-end legendaries will be BoA in the expansion. Looks like they've finally caved in to playerbase demands and chosen the WoW approach. This is VERY BAD news for botters.
Surely, if Blizz fully resets the gold then it will be possible to get a nice profit for a short period of time. But after few months gold will be devalued again (everyone will jump at it) and with no decent items to sell the show will end very quickly. And unlike WoW there won't be a similar gold sink. It seems Blizz figured out that removing the profit incentive is the best way to fight with botters.
