New level cap, new items, new zones

I don't think they'll kill their rmah entirely. I guess items won't be BoA all the time. Maybe BoE results in the items becomeing BoA? There's not enough info in this to clarify that. Unless I missed something.

It could be so damn great if items would be BoE, those enchants and mystify things would cost a shit ton of Gold and thus keeping gold and item markets in check. If Items were bound on equip or bound on enchant or something like that it would clearly rise tha overall value of, well, anything that is ingame :D

I am going to say it again- they are releasing just the convenient part of the news, so the legit players are gonna feel pretty happy with the game. When the time comes, there will be stuff that will sell for money, i 200% believe in this. It might not be the items, tho, maybe it will be something equivalent to runes in D2, i simply don't know.

I expect it to be high end white items that are reagents for end game crafts. example... white 1h maces of superior quality and max dps, or white xbows with max dps possible pre-craft etc. Possibly other reagents also, whatever the new brimstones / essences are, and gold of course will be in demand.

I'm sure there will be non boa items that are sellable and will bring some decent $. I just hope there are more of them rather than less and blizz atm looks to be going the opposite way.

The smart drops are the boa legendarys you see in the screen shots im 90% sure. They are super buffed drops for the current character you are playing and will be account bound.

I just hope all the reagents arent boa like current demonic essences are, that would blow pretty hard.

I also doubt they will do a gold wipe. They need to do 1 terribly bad, but i dont see it happening. They will rely on a big playerbase and sinks to handle it which could also work to a certain point.

If they kill high-end item selling due to making them boa, than this game will not be botable anymore. Do not count on selling crafting resources, because nobody will pay srs money for "cat in the bag", which is merely a small chance to get good item via crafting system. I remember well ppl here believing that gold price and crafting mats price will go up after implementation of boa crafts, and nothing like that happened.

Diablo 3 to get new features, for free, in pre-expansion patch

Following in the footsteps of WoW's pre-expansion patch, Diablo 3 will give the community quite a bit of stuff for free. Blizzard Community Manager Grimiku explains:

Grimuku
We want to implement a lot of the new systems and features in a pre-expansion patch for free. That should include Paragon 2.0, Loot 2.0, Loot Runs, and Nephalem Trials. For now, you'll need to purchase the expansion to play as the Crusader, explore Act V, unlock the Mystic, and level up to 70. These details may change as development moves along, but we want some of the core gameplay improvements to be available for everyone.

The new Paragon system will remove the Paragon level cap (meaning you'll be able to, well, infinitely level your toon), which is good news for the few and proud that have reached the max paragon level. There'll also be other changes Paragon 2.0 will bring, and we'll get those then too.

The Loot 2.0 vision for Diablo 3 will be especially important for those that want to get characters ready for the expansion. Loot 2.0 means that the gear drops you get will be more focused on your current character, which means that in general, gearing up should be easier; and that there should be more 'reward' for playing the game.

The other features Grimuku talks about, the Loot Runs and the Nephalem Trials, are end-game modes/activities.

Blizzard seems to be taking a new direction with Diablo 3, addressing some of the fan complaints. No matter what your feelings on Diablo 3 are, this will certainly be interesting to watch.
