Niantic has finally implemented TODAY a new Captcha where user has to physically verify that he is not a bot before he can log in.

I hope that PF can beat this new update, or the new version that they have been working on for days now will be useless too.

I might have pulled the trigger too early. Most of the bots that I am experimenting with were able to log in and continue to do what it is supposed to do.

I can tell you though that I have been getting soft bans left and right, so these experimental accounts are probably flagged for banning hundreds of times already.

Maybe you're getting soft bans because the other bots are using the old encryption. Hatchingegg said that's what the competition is doing and they will be flagged for ban easier.

Maybe yes, maybe not. I created these experimental accounts for that purpose, to get soft ban, what kind of soft ban, to find out which bot will give me soft ban, and ultimately to get perma banned. As of right now, there are still two remaining that hasn't given me soft ban yet. Two stopped today after the captcha, and one started giving me softban today. There are others who gave me softban as early as last week. No bot has given me a perma ban after repeated intentional offense.

Anyone who wants to know which is which can PM me, but I will not post it here.

I will not try these bots on my main and higher accounts though. I am also waiting for the PF release, it's the only bot that has not given me any single soft ban at all after months of constant use..

I had created a throwaway account using one of those free to try bots available out there. I was able to raise it all the way to level 20. I wished I had had more time available to use the bot more often and raise it to a higher level.

My view on this is that Niantic can't keep up with all the bot accounts. So they implement this to stop botters being able to log in. It won't work though as captcha's can be easily bypassed. I think they will struggle to keep up with botters soon.

Joe, if your account is a throw away like mine, and I would suspect that we are using at least one common bot, see if this will happen to you.

I also raised mine to level 21 without any problem. But today, after they enabled the new captcha, I finally received this warning. there is no immediate ban, but this is one step closer to getting ban and higher than soft ban.

The bot will work even with the new captcha, but the next time that you logged in to your phone, you will receive this message. Now is it because of the encrypted API or the new implemented captcha. I don't know, but I have been seeing new things today. And something that we might need to be concerned about.

They stop botters from logging in using the 3rd party app by implementing the captcha system. But once you respond to the captcha system it gives you a cheater warning. Probably this throwaway account is going to be banned very soon.

So, here is my finding so far:

You may or may not see the captcha. Depending on the quality of the bot, when you start using a bot, and you get a soft ban, you will not be able to log in again. You have to log in using your phone, and that's the time that you will see the captcha. (If you see the captcha, it means that you have already been caught cheating before on that account. My other accounts went through without encountering this message). That will enable you to use the bot again. But if it detected you again and received a soft ban, the next time that you logged in using your phone, you will encounter the captcha again, PLUS the ban warning that I posted. This means that it is really imperative that you use only a reliable bot to avoid getting detected the first time. My advice? I hate a$$kissers like some of the members here, but for all whiners if you don't want to get banned, SIT DOWN AND WAIT FOR THE NEW UPDATE. DON'T TAKE A CHANCE AT ALL, unless you can spare an account.

I will continue pushing this account and see how long it will take to get perma banned, and will let you know.

I logged in with the throwaway account to my phone on more time and I received this warning message again. I was able to get a screenshot this time. This account is definitely marked to be perma banned.

let me try mine. Did you bot again after the warning that I posted?

I haven't botted yet after the cheating warning, but everytime that I log off and log back in, the warning will always show. I think this account is also marked for banning. It will disappear after you clicked on it and you can continue playing, but It will always come back no matter how many times I log off and log back in. No more captcha at this point

More reason for people to wait for a safer bot.

No. I simply logged in again, and the warning message appeared again. But this message is similar to the one you posted except that yours has the full message and the button says "Got It" while my message look only like Internal Constant Names.

Yeah I got the same warning too not sure if the bot is detectable or cos I was snipping Pokemon as well lol I'll try make a new Acount and test it no sniping this time lol

I only received this warning after I encountered a captcha and resumed botting again. I wonder if this will show if I stopped after the first time I received a soft ban. I might bot another account from zero, then stop after the first soft ban. and see if this warning message will pop up.

It is kind of cruel on Niantic's side they still have the door open for API 0.35 when it's been more than a week since they forced updated all applications. Now they are using it to mark 3rd party applications using that protocol. I am thrilled they haven't closed it.

They used it as a trap, and a lot of customers fell for it. This might actually trigger some backlash and might backfire on them later on. They may think that they are doing the right thing to protect their business, but for me, this almost constitutes an unethical practice too.

Well, I'm lucky. It no window (no warning) does not show. Probably because I am waiting patiently for PF and tryin 'to another bot from the competition.
It's hard, every day, several times looking at the page and look forward to the new edition, and I feel helpless when I can help - just wait and hope.

Indeed wait for developers to make operational POKEFARMER 1.0 Build 139, and I will not have to worry Capcha as another eager teammates here.

Most of my botting accounts got nailed by the warning this morning.
Basically you can still log in but the game wont detect pokestops or pokemon and they catch you that way.
