To me it all makes sense. Look their goal is to shut down the bots as much as possible, if everyone using a bot on the old API gets a the message, people will stop using the bot. I'm guessing they think that will stop a lot of the bots in their tracks because people will move on and abandon that bot. They can chose to delete the account now, or later, but they are getting the message out to botters that we can see your bot. If they just delete the accounts like before, people just hang in there and keep trying with the same bot and minor upgrades, you let them all know you can see their bot and you cause havok and put more pressure on bot creators.
Personally, I have quite a few account, the ones that I used on other bots I was abusing and sniping just to see what I could do haha! They all have gotten the we can see you message, but the ones that I paused with the API changes all come up clear and work without a glitch. I know the new API will be *****ed and we will be back at it again and I will continue to use PF to relentlessly grind on some Pokemon!
