Do not worry, you are not the only one. I just try to survive with it. I have friends that cannot use the bot at all because they did not specify which firewall ports are needed for movement.
In my opinion there is a limit between "protect the software" and "being paranoid about your software".
As long as movement will be server side, we will always have this kind of problems, no matter how good the movement server will be, or the speed of the internet they have there.

100% fix will NEVER be present, there are way too many variables in between. And many of them do not depend on them, like your latency.
