I entered pit of saron, but i don't see from the drop down menu the option to change diff to heroic. Do i need to beat it on normal to unlock it?

Or do i need to be in a group?

Because you started it in Ulduar instead of Pit of Saron.

Heroic does not work for my 392 Shadow priest, gets absolutely annhialated , pulls 3 -4 mobs at once and dies instantly, dont need hilt so im just on normal mode grinding rep. Also cannot find entrance once you die it just flies about outside

possible to add the path with the drakes? im BiS geared and i can kill them with no issues, right now im running in to the to many instances

had same prob myself as DK, edited file to kill more trash, works fine for me, you might have probs with classes with charge abilities but try it out if ur bored, not my work, just slightly edited op's

after running through it a few times i got stuck on a ledge on the odd occasion, i edited it to skip a mob but shouldn't ever get stuck, also while testing the edit, a battered hilt dropped for me so many thanks Zikke

Got my first hilt today after quite a few runs and a ton of vendor gold.

One thing that may have been asked but I may have missed it...is it possible to have my character wait outside for about 2min each run to not hit the instance limit?

This :

Add this line to the profile anywhere in the movement section (in between the While tags):

<CustomBehavior File="WaitTimer" WaitTime="180000" />

That will add 3 minutes to each run and hopefully it's enough to avoid the Too Many Instances message. You can adjust the duration as needed. If a lot of people say this is happening to them, I'll change the main profile with it.

mine wont loot for some reason is there something i need to do and dont say turn loot on its on in game if you mean pass on loot

im starting this in questing bot btw and im on an arms warrior 409ilvl

btw im in a group and i tried it outside of group and still doesnt loot


edit it loots on my dk but not on my warrior

Download the Loot Filter addon and add it into the items you want to keep, worked for me

if you open the profile in an editor at the end you will see
<ProtectedItems>
</ProtectedItems>
anything you do not want sold needs to be in there
book of glyph mastery is item 45912, google glyph of book mastery item number will give you the item number

so just edit the file to read

<ProtectedItems>
<Item>45912</Item>
</ProtectedItems>

and it will sell all greens bar the book of glyph
