MP0 vs. MP1 in act3

It really has nothing to do with "if your bot can handle it". Its all about efficiency.

My 100k dps WW barb stats were as follows:

- MP0 - 660 items / hour - 19 ilvl 63 / hour - 0 deaths
- MP1 - 440 items / hour - 11 ilvl 63 / hour - 2 deaths / hour

That't actually very accurate also considering MP1 monsters have 30% more health, therefore 30% less drops. Yeah I know 1 shotting mobs and the increased bonus item and magic find will outweigh it, but the numbers don't lie.

Also, yes, ilvl 63 legendaries definitely still do drop from MP0. I got 15 legendaries from both my accounts in the 8 hours I botted last night, about 7 of which were ilvl 63.

Now, one could argue that the fact that MP1+ makes all mobs ilvl 63 means you have more potential for good items since item affix's are now based off of monster level and not item level. But the few mobs that are ilvl 63 instead of ilvl 62 in act 3 (since act 3 is all ilvl 62 and 63) would not outweigh the 30% health to all mobs.

Furthermore, legendary and set item affix's are NOT effected by the recent changes to affix rolls based on monster level. They are still effected by the legendary item itself and the ilvl of the item.

Your last statement about the affix's is not 100 percent accurate. I believe they changed the random affix rolls to go by monster level but the stuff that always rolls like the first dex roll on a nat's helm go by the legendary but the second roll being the random magic roll goes by monster level.

That blue post was referring to the static legendary rolls and not the random affix rolls as stated in the official patch notes I have linked below.

Interesting, your right.

I still don't think that would tip the scale though as most legendaries under ilvl 63 aren't amazing anyhow.
 
hmm exceptions are rings and amulets. Amulets can roll 950 LoH+ and rings with 450LoH+
 
if monster is lvl62 they cant, but anyway. Its hard to say what to farm, its based heavily on your movement speed. A lot of dmg and slow movement, higher mp is better. Well cant decide between mp1 and mp0...
 
True if its lvl 62 they cant, but the amount of 62 mobs in act 3 pales in comparison to increased health and damage from MP1.

Movement speed of 25% is a must have for any botter.
 
Hmm only got 24 on armor, than +10 fleet-footed, and spamming tempest rush. Im just looking for right ring and daibo and it will be up 100%, since my spirit regen will be 10. I think it moves at like 200% speed at least...
 
Well Im making less money in mp0 than I did in mp1. And I have only 75k unbuffed dps. your barb has 100k unbuffed right?
 
I dont have much for hard stats - but 12 hours at mp0 on release yielded 1 set, 8 legendaries.

12 hours last night on mp2 yielded 3 sets, 18 legendaries.

I also notice my GPH and XP/hr is significantly higher on MP1/2 than 0.

(410k on mp1 vs 300k on mp0)

Like everyone said, it's up to what your char can do.
 
I am still very torn on what MP to bot on Act3.

I notice the same as Maxasy, more GPH and more EXPH on MP1 over MP0.

I have only really had one stable night of botting the new content and it was done at MP1 on two bots and I netted almost 25 legendaries, across the spectrum in type and quality. But would that have been 30% more on MP0 at faster kill rate? Who the fuck knows.

I dont know which to do.
 
MP0 is the best for botting. Even if you have to gear to clear higher MP levels with 0 deaths, MP0 is still superior in every aspect.

what plugins did u used to get these stats?

Actually Blizzard did lie. For day 1 of patch 1.05, MP 10 was only as difficult as MP4 was intended to be. Tons of people did infernal machine on MP10 and now they can't do it.
 
Just wanted to note that monsters actually have 50% more health in inferno MP1, not 30% as stated above, that only applies to normal through hell.
