[MoreDots] - A CoRoutine option for RebornBuddy

The problem with minion is that they don't really care what people want or how they play in regards to some things. None of their navigation works in legacy mode, and their combat doesn't support making you automatically face the target. I asked them why, and they said it's not possible for ridiculous false reasons, and when I brought up the fact that other bots have no problem with it, they basically just said "minion isn't other bots, we're not adding it, stop asking".

This version of MoreDots is no longer being supported. Endus is working on a new version that will have a lot more improvement. One of those improvements is the ability to summon your chocobo and also the ability to select what stance you want it to be in.
 
Yeah, thanks to Wheredidigo I basically have all of the framework/foundation finished and even some profiles finished. I'm just trying to get some basic settings thrown in (like Summon Chocobo) and we'll probably see the new version released this week. Here's to hoping. :)

That's great news. MoreDots seemed to be the only RB CR that could do the DRG rotation decently, so definitely anticipating v2. If you need a tester, i have all combat routines at 50 :P
 
This is still the best BLM routine. It would be fantastic if someone renamed it and gave it a few tweaks.

How can I pledge to repair MoreDots for BLM when you have still failed to supply any information whatsoever about how it is not working for you? Once you are able to actually give some details and an attached log showing the problem, we can see about fixing it, until then..there's really nothing ANYONE can do.
 
This routine also doesn't work on my BLM, anything i can help you with by providing something?

May I ask why 90% of all posts expecting a fix to a problem are so afraid to upload a full log?, it's a 5 second process. Snippits are just as useless as no log at all. I've never looked at MoreDots as I don't tend to play BLM, but most CRs have some form of debug mode to write more verbose logs. If it exsists, check Debug mode and upload a full log.

Lets just start with reading that post ONE more time....you should particularly pay attention to the part where it says "Once you are able to actually give some details and an attached log"...

My method of dealing with it was I've started using a different bot for my BLM. I still use Rebornbuddy for questing and leveling. Ok, I'll go with your idea....

.....hopped on my lvl 50 BLM....started up Combat Assist.....attacked a target dummy....watched MoreDots pew pew like a boss.....

Now what? It worked JUST FINE for me. Do I get to call bullshit on it not working for you? Should I just assume that you and anyone else who says it isn't working for them are complete liars and should never be trusted?

It has nothing to do with thinking like programmers...just attach a damn log file so we can look at it and see what is going on. We need the entire damn log file...not some snippet, not a portion of the log file...the ENTIRE log file. The guy who posted a snippet....that tells me NOTHING. No where in that snippet does it tell me what botbase is being run...it doesn't tell me which CR is selected.....it doesn't tell me ANYTHING.

Don't come here and bitch about things not working when you didn't pay a dime for it, and especially don't bitch about it if you can't follow simple instructions like uploading a log file.
 
I will vouch and say that MoreDots works fine for me, there are few issues but its to do with my preference of rotation(Which I changed myself), take a look and make sure to see if a plugin is causing issues or do a clean install, but literally no log = no help.

Wrong....it does matter. What matters is that people like you seem to want support for stuff without having to post a log showing an example of what they claim is "wrong". It matters because every time someone posts about a "bug" or a "problem" with something..be it a CR, a Plugin, a Profile, or a BotbAse...and they don't supply a log, they waste everyone's time. It also makes other people think that supplying a log is not required because "x" person before them didn't supply a log.

The entire point of me even replying to you is to make you realize that you HAVE TO ATTACH A LOG. I truly wish that I had the power to delete posts on my own threads. That way I could just delete any bug that's reported without a proper log attached.
 
It works perfectly for me aside from not using flare during aoe rotation, but aside from that, it is pretty good.
