Mark II - User Controlled PvE & PvP Hunter Routine

Thank for the info about outside of pandaria, CurrentPendingCursorSpell == null will always return false.

I have to make an Blind Cast on that... I wonder why it work great for me and it doesn't work at all for someone else, now I know why thank to you my friend.
 
Hmm, how to word this...

Let me start with a disclaimer I guess. If the following reads with an air of "I deserve more than this, I'm entitled to xyz". I ask that you ignore it and just read the frog in the well facts.

This thing has too many options and too little info on how to set it up. I know you might call it easy but the fact is it's not easy for everyone. I know there are presets but for me at least, regardless of which preset I use it ends up doing something stupid; constantly casting aspect of the hawk for example.

I love your old routine. It's actually my "go to" routine, works pretty flawlessly, constantly gets a respectable amount of DPS and even performs well in BGs (doesn't work in arena though Q.Q).


Again I don't mean to come across as being (umm what's the word) impertinent but could you make a preset that performs exactly the same as your old routine.

Better yet could someone who has this working flawlessly post a picture of their EXACT settings.


(I mean clearly this works or it wouldn't be so popular. I just can't get it working and there's little to no information on how to do so properly).
 
I don't understand how this is too complicated to use, I personally find it much easier to configure quickly than Tuanha's, but that could be because I use this strictly for PVE. Currently there is a bug with Aspect of the Iron Hawk, so it gets spammed, reducing DPS. Well, it's pretty easy to understand that if that feature is broken, you can turn it off and it will stop being spammed.
 
I get that there's a bunch of features I don't really explain, so I'll be making a video of how to use the CR later on. Also I'm reducing the amount of settings and reorganizing them so hopefully it'll be a little more easy to use.

Oh and thanks for reminding me about aspect of the Iron Hawk, gonna fix that now.
 
2.4.0 released in dev svn.

- Fixes Aspect of the Iron Hawk being spammed
- Adds Marksmanship PvP rotation
- Reorganizes all settings
- Removes 'useless' settings
- Fixes Hotkey behaviour
- Small tweaks and fixes

Currently known issues: HB sometimes returns wrong values for Current Pending Cursor Spell, if the rotation isn't working try to change zones (Teleport to a Orgrimmar or Stormwind City for example).

Hopefully we'll have a more stable working version of HB soon.
 
I'm having an issue with not being able turn off AOE for certain fights. Even with AOE rotation turned off and cluster set to 99, it still throws out explosive trap. Any advice?
 
Can i use the Routine for BG?s?
With BG Buddy it dont work :(

I need a routine for atomatic Join BG?s.

Sorry, BGBuddy is not supported, this is a lazyraider style combat routine, means you have to be there yourself.

@Haiku, I'll look into that but it would help if you told me which spec you're playing, oh and check that your traps are disabled in the trap settings.
 
2.4.1 released in dev svn.

- Fixes Trap Launcher and AotH not being cast when in arena / bg preparation.
- Hopefully fixes Auto Set focus mechanism (was throwing out a lot of errors when target vanished).
- Minor tweaks.
 
No idea but its still pissing me off, here is a 5min bg log. edit (basically its not doing alot and im having to take over everything)

If i change settings one more bloody time only to find its on that bloody PVE tab after the 100th time once more i will smash my computer up ffs.

Not exactly sure what's wrong here but I'm releasing a new version, hopefully that will fix your issues

v 2.4.2

- Cleaned up Trap Behaviour code.
- Added different colors for different specs in UI.
- Removed premade preset options from GUI (as these were never actually implemented). You're still able to make your own custom presets.
- Fixed force Pet Attack for all rotations.
- Changed all default settings to more sensible values.
- Renamed settings files for consistency (Your settings will be reset to defaults now).
- Fixed SV and MM sharing hotkey settings file.
- Fixed custom presets for SV and MM.
- Added hotkeys to custom presets (Hotkeys are also saved now).

Happened to me once too, restarted HB and it was fine. Are you getting this problem consistently?

Also latest version will be 2.4.3 in just a few seconds. Making it so for BM (which has PvE and PvP tabs) the tab will be selected based on your current context (Pve/PvP). Should make changing settings a bit faster / easier.
 
I got it to work,

I just did a few BG's and here are some things I noticed (correct me if I am wrong):
-It needs to maintain the steadyshot buff, 15% ranged haste is too important
-when we have 3 stacks of read steady aim cast aimed shot

it attempts to maintain it, but there are things to consider: How high priority should it have, should it cast steady shots instead of chimera, should we cast them even if we're full on focus?
And yes, with 3 stacks it will cast aimed shot.

Hmm ok ill try again but it wasnt casting SS at all, I need to go to bed but ill work with it and get you a log if it still happens.
Mind giving a screenshot of your settings, spec, and pet
