Magitek - All in One

Hello everyone, I'm very new to magitek, need help for some questions:

General Settings: What is the Auto Target and Targeting style for? There's also a checkbox for Initiate Combat and Distance, who are these meant for?
Healing MG: What is this setting for?
Job/Class: I am using a Warrior for Fate Bot, but it doesnt seem to be pulling with Tomahawk at a range. Going in melee and aggroing everything even though it is set to pull range 62. Is that too little?

EDIT: Another issue - Sometimes after awhile of running fates, it just runs to the fate, kills one monster and then goes Idle forever as shown below. What might be causing that?

[17:26:30.992 N] [Magitek] Casting Heavy Swing
[17:26:30.992 D] DoAction Spell 31 0x400221B5
[17:26:31.064 D] Poi: Type: Kill (Wild Dodo) | Idle
[17:26:33.503 N] [Magitek] Casting Skull Sunder
[17:26:33.503 D] DoAction Spell 35 0x400221B5
[17:26:35.391 V] [Poi.Clear] Reason: Killed it
[17:26:35.405 D] [POI Set] Type: Kill

[17:26:35.488 D] Poi: Type: Kill (Dodo's Nest) | [Magitek] Moving in Range

lvl 28 conjurer.. thought i set it to heal party and dps only while 80% or more mana.. just it dps no matter what.. i see that that option is under white mage and not conjurer.. is that why it still dps no matter what?

Turn off targeting and don't target enemies when you don't intend to DPS. Heals will still find their targets, no problem.

The options your changing are for WhiteMage, not Conjurer. When you get the level 30 soul it'll stop doing dps with that setting, pre-30 it really doesn't matter.

i have noticed since your last update (was working fine in revision 230) melee dps seems sometimes to have a bit of troubles getting into range when using fate bot. Tested with monk and dragoon in costa del sol against the ranged enemies in follow the light fate. Perhaps it's just against ranged enemies? Just thought you should know.

EDIT: seems to do it against melee enemies too, nto sure why

Thank you for the awesome routine Ex! :D

62 is too much, and you might as well turn off tomahawk since it'll spam it if the mob doesn't come closer to your range. It's actually better if you let the bot walk up to mobs if you're going to be using it for FATEs, dungeons are a different thing entirely since the people there don't want to take aggro from you.

Healing MG is for setting up Healing.

I'm guessing Distance is the amount of Distance the routine starts targeting stuff, measured in yalms(?). Auto-Target sounds like it chooses Targets for you, Initiate Combat is letting the bot start the fight when it's in range to do a certain skill on a mob with no aggro table yet.

If you're using Magitek for FATEs then Tomahawk is most likely the only thing that should affect you.

As for your Bot stopping in a FATE, I'm gonna take that the bot is in 62 pull range of a monster so it's trying to use Tomahawk, but since Tomahawk is a 25 yalm skill it obviously can't go off, so it's going to sit there until the targeted mob is within 25 yalm range and throw a Tomahawk. Again, you should just disable Tomahawk if you are using it for FATEs.

WHM is casting protect over and over when in solo party with choco out as a companion. Is there a setting to make it ignore your choco when looking at buffs?

im having the same problem as Lazer1211. just keeps spamming protect on Choco? any idea how to get awy from this as it very rarely attacks a mob when doing fates now. thank you for your hard work.

WHM doesn't seem to be using Esuna (in party, haven't tested solo). There's nothing shown in the console and no mention of Esuna in the .log file except for picking it up at load.

It didn't cleanse Slow, Venomous Bite, Paralysis or Flesh Wound. That's pretty much the extent of my cleanse list at the moment, but each time one of those landed on a party it kept on healing or standing there (if no healing was needed) and ignored the status effect.

Using a fresh install of RB and Magitek (I'm now in the habit of doing a fresh install each time you update to avoid possible problems). I tried it with cleanse set above 50%, 40% and 30% (default). log file attached. Player names have been replaced to protect the guilty.

warrior still uses tomahawk even when unchecked.

You're probably a Marauder and not a Warrior, i've changed it so that you need to have Use Tomahawk checked in the settings for it to use it as Marauder.

The temporary solution would have been to uncheck Protect in the settings for your class, but i've fixed this problem on the SVN, it should work now.

Shrug, i've messed with this code a lot, I changed it back to just getting within 4y when on a melee combat class, hopefully this works.

TYVM for your explanation :)

hello buddy. thanks for the quick update. the WHM profile seems not to be attacking when using fate bot. it just stands there until its attacks. ive ticked auto target etc but it still doesnt engage combat. this has resulted in many fates where it just stands there and gets no rewards until the time expires. is there something imm doing wrong? thank you.
