[PAID] [Mage] Portal - An Advanced Honorbuddy Mage Routine [PvE/PvP]

it feels like CC doesn't take enough benefit from Ice lance specially during cooldowns @Prismatic Crystal, sometimes I have 2FoF+BF ready and cc keeps casting extra frost bolt, I get 1 precast b4 letting the ice lance go, but it sometimes does more than 1. at first I thought it's just RNG but when I compared logs to other mages who were in raids with me I always cast less Ice lance than them (more than 30 casts sometimes throughout the fight)

Btw can you take a look at fire rotation as well(soon I'll need to respec to fire since arcane is gonna be shit with the amount of moving in mythic raids), it instantly let the pyroblasts go, without precasting fire ball, also it would be great if cc stops wasting pyroblasts on boss and using it on PC instead when it is out of cooldown. it also keeps using fireblast on CD, again without precasting fireball, or even having a proc of heating up.

Frost -> Are you using frostbomb or ice nova? Chances are it's holding FoF until it gets FB on the target if that's the talent you're using. I believe it's slightly too slow on using the procs from frozen orb which is where the lower cast number comes from. I need to change it so it goes PC -> FB -> FO, instead of PC -> FO -> FB.

Fire -> Experimental rotation does the pre-cast fireball thing. Normal rotation doesn't.

Frost -> I use ice nova, it pulls way more dmg than frost bomb on single-double-Triple fights, haven't tried it on fights like tectus yet though.
Fire -> I'm sure I checked the exprimental option, but I'll look into it again

Ah okay, I'll need a log file for frost then where it's holding IL charges.
 
Hey! Uh how can I stop routine from spamming frostbolt in pvp - I really only want it for the blinks, pet logic etc.
 
i fucking love this CR
played my mage for the first time yesterday, with full 620 pvp blues in the LFR mode as arcane
and i was in the top 4 all the time with 17k dps LOL

Maybe i should swap over to arcane instead of frost because im still getting no luck.
 
Any more have problem with arcane burst phase? No always spam to 50% mana, use evocation with 100% mana...i cant upload log until monday
 
How do I obtain the free version of this routine? Buddy Store says it's not on sale. I'm making a lvl 1 alt, I really don't need a premium routine at this point.
 
Can someone who made succes with arena poost some hints?
i can easily go 2k+ by myself but with cr i can barely win arenas

is there any way to play by myself and let cr control only burst,cs, killing totems with lances and all this kind of things
because i cant even blink or put a shield on me, its just spamming frost bolts even if im not facing enemies

please tell me what do you do?
 
sometimes I press burst - the chick says burst enabled - but then the cooldowns don't go off. Happens most often with mirror images. but sometimes it happens with ALL of them. framelock at 25 but FPS always 30+. I have a log - but its a HUGE log of the whole raid --- want it?
 
Anyone else been having issues when leveling that it stops to target mobs and gets ready to get in combat and it just keeps running past them and doesn't do anything until it get far past the mob? The pet does attack however my mage is just running past the mobs.

Edit: I'm frost by the way if that should have any impact on it
 
Is it possible to add the option to move out of melee range of enemies that are frozen due to (pet) freeze or frost nova? Especially if there are multiple enemies targeting me? Maybe need a condition-check that will only move if there is x number of seconds left in the debuff. The movement shouldn't depend on blink or the alike; a simple step back is just as good.

... then again, I believe you have been working on this for awhile so you probably know what's more efficient. (Not be sarcastic)

I seen it while farming too. Frost too.
