[PAID] [Mage] Portal - An Advanced Honorbuddy Mage Routine [PvE/PvP]

How exactly do you use this with proving grounds? When I play manually I can get to round 58. With this I get to round 4... Is there a special button i'm missing? It targets the wrong monsters and multidots when it shouldn't I.E. a banshee in the middle that it's too busy dotting shield guards up instead of killing it.

The experimental PvE rotation does this.

just tried reducing the resoulation, didn't work either. so probably resoulation is not the issue, was wondering if you can tell me how to fix it

Asked the other devs about this, and Mirabis has said:

[10:04:03] Mirabis: Tell him to put the scale to 100/100
[10:04:08] Mirabis: and not 150/100
[10:04:49] Mirabis: The text scales, but the group boxes don't ;p

Can you check your font scaling / accessibility options? It's the size of the font that needs to be reduced.

What happens when you try to get it? Does a blank red box appear along the top of the page? If so, the buddy auth account you're logged in with doesn't have an Honorbuddy key attached.

You need to control the targeting and toggle AoE on/off when appropriate. It's not setup to automatically run proving grounds.

Thanks, does anyone know where this scaling / accessibility options are? I'm looking but can find them anywhere.

Haven't completely decided yet. I know a lot of other devs are dropping their free versions, but at this stage I think I probably will update it, but again with limited features/functionality.

To be clear though, the free version will be quite a while behind the premium ones to be updated.

thats what i figured. basically ALL free CR's are being abandon once patch 6.0.2 hits. PureRotationV2, Oracle 1, Fury Unleashed 1, kingwow. Not sure about Mirabis leaves community edition. Also not sure about TuanHA's
free editions. But I figure if they are updated to work with 6.0.2, that will be all thats done, just to make them work, like no support or bug fixes after that. Seems to be becoming a trend for most community devs. Ive posted on TuanHA's thread many times with bug reports from his free editions and NEVER get a response. Seems he is focusing on the paid editions, like everyone else. :(

I think doing away with the free version is counter productive. A lot of people are not going to just out right buy your premium routine. I tested your free version for a while to make sure that I liked what was being done. Honestly, without a free version, I would not have paid for the routine. It's pretty important to a lot of people to try things out before just buying something. I paid for 2 of your routines and all of Tuanha's because I liked the features that they included.

I'm not saying make updating the free version a priority, but still important to do. Obviously since I paid for the premium routine, I want quick updates as was promised.

This was my thought process too. There's a trial available via the store for the premium version, but 2 days isn't really long enough - and a lot of people just need the very basics - I'd rather have people upgrade to the premium version because they want the extra features, and want to support the development of the routines, not because they're forced into it.

my title bars and palette titles were on 12, so now it's much much better except some lines, which is not that big of a problem coz its readable.

I read other comments so speaking of new patch and WoD, was wondering if the Portal/demonic CC will be available to use with this upcoming patch which is gonna be out in a week or two ? I mean how long after the patch will we be able to use the premium routine again ? I guess there will be a change of rotation/spells in some classes.

It will be available to use with 6.0.2, however...

- Honorbuddy needs updating first. The core developers will likely take a while to check through the updated binaries, especially following the Warden scare back in July. I'd expect a good week or 2 before it's ready.
- The change is bigger behind the scenes than just the rotations (the rotations are actually a small part). There's a lot of both WoW and HB API changes that need to be resolved/updated.
- The routines will not be optimized for the new rotations. Making the code 'work' again will be the priority, so that it can be loaded and casting spells - first up will be the changes to get the routines to load, optimizing comes after.

There's a lot of managing expectations - I want them to be updated just as quick as everyone else, and I'll be working as quick as I can with it, but don't expect working builds straight away after the patch is out. The free versions won't be updated until WoD is released.
 
Hello Millz, I am trying to buy the CR Portal and for some reason the store wont let me, its giving some kind of error but all i see is a pink strip no error message. Is there a way i can buy from you and gift it to my HB account like i did my BGFarmer?

Tried doing some CMs as frost, and the rotation wouldn't cast FFB or FoF procs. Also, when I was talented into Invocation, it would cast Evo every other cast. Any ideas?

Hey

That pink/red bar is meant to say something like "you don't have an honorbuddy key attached to this buddy auth account". Make sure you're logged in with the correct account :)
