But yes you can get refunds for diablo 3 through paypal. Ive done it on every accound ive had banned except my main.
this is in reference to a closed thread btw. Since it was locked i figured i may as well open a new one to post a valid reply.

How much time passed before your initial purchase ?
Also, omg you buy the digital version ?
 
Under consumer protection laws you are entitled to do a chargeback through your bank for up to 6 months depending on your bank's policy, this however hasn't be tested in court against the Distance Selling Regulation Act which is more valid when it comes to selling digital goods and that they state you're not covered (in order for you to not chargeback but you still can).

tl;dr you can chargeback but you could get sued but most likely won't be, lack of clarity will also exists until someone gets taken to court over it and a judge provides a clear judgement.

u can always go to the bank and refund all the money u spent in last few months. u can tell ur card was stolen or w/e they have to refund u the money. that period is 2 months here where i live, tested, its legit

you serious? you want to commit a crime just to get back 1/20th of what you should be making off that account? Never tell them your card was stolen unless it was, you will be ass fucked and I laugh when your time comes. Simply telling them the services were cancelled will be sufficient.
 
lol... To caveat off OP, tried to appeal all my accounts and they didn't. So I started disputes for all purchases to Blizzard. Was refunded every single dollar ;).
 
How do u dispute ? and also how do u get refunded ? please let us know the process thanks

I hope you don't claim your card is stolen and any of your accounts actually used paypal. Blizzard can report the phone # you linked to your SMS protect lol. If you used Authenticator/SMS protect on your phone, you could get in legal trouble for fraud pretty quickly =P.

Open up paypal and go to "resolution center". I'm not going to type up a paragraph of what you need to do =x.

this only works for digital copys through paypal, and i disputed missing parts saying that there was no offline mode and it is free software, you just buy the right to play it and they revoked my right to play it so i no longer am able to use a product i purchased, please return my right to play and i will end the dispute, they never ever reply and paypal gives u the money back.

Login to paypal
Click Resolution Center (the actual bar not any of the dropdowns)
Dispute a transaction
I have a problem with an item i purchased
Click Find Transaction ID and find the transaction
Open the dispute and escalate.
Make sure you add in that you are unable to use the software, otherwise the paypal dispute can fall through.

The only thing I have tested this on is digital purchases through blizzard inc. I'm not sure if you'll get it back from other sources as easily as they're not in responsible for Blizzard's actions.

This only works for digital purchases from the blizzard store, doing this with any other store may lead to legal action and/or a failed disupute and a bad reputation for your paypal. Other stores get physical copies and email you the license. You purchased a key, a key that would activate a product. Blizzard never responds, those websites do. I would not recommend doing this with any other site other then the bnet store.

Was the easiest way to get my money back. I referenced their own legal policies, EULA, and TOS when I put in my refunds for Blizzard. Blizzard is required to give a response, so sometimes (when I have large amount of disputes), I'll post images of my tickets to Blizzard and how they automate the response (all bots get the SAME response, different name) and once they do respond it's to say "we're no longer going to review any of your tickets". The "fuck you attitude" that their customer service is giving is what is fucking Blizzard.
