Legitimate Question about Locked Threads

I haven't seen the numbers but i am guessing more people get muted and/or banned while HB is down. All that frustration.....

Probably a safe bet, this generation of the internet embodies the very definition of "sense of entitlement". Seriously cant believe how many people think they are entitled to spout off their mouth on HB forums, their entitlement and ineptitude is dumbfounding.

Couldn't agree with this more. If you take a step back and look at the big picture, honorbuddy centers around the concept that people, including myself, would rather pay money than actually play a video game. "Nope don't feel like doing this bg, honorbuddy." "nope not going to bother with garrison, garrison bot." etc. But when an update to the game that you also pay for comes along and there subsequently has to be an update to the bot you are using all hell breaks loose. People forget that it takes the work and effort of the few to allow the masses to be lazy.

People forget that it takes the work and effort of the few to allow the masses to be lazy.

I like to think I am being ultra productive because I can do 2 things at once. Often study while my dailies get done.

When I started this topic, we were discussing how to make HonorBuddy better. That's not a sense of entitlement. The thread we were on, unfortunately, got a few naysayers in there who were taking the discussion in the wrong direction. Because of that, threads got closed without a real sense of finishing the topic. I started this thread to find out why they lock threads when they disagree with us. When I went back to read it, I saw a few posts that I honestly just read over because the people were being stupid and it was ignored by me. I do understand that locked threads can be valid. I have since asked in a few threads how to get started helping make Singular better and where the development on that needs to occur (who can update, etc) and got no responses.

Having said that, this thread seems to be taking a turn for some reason due to people not giving *constructive* criticism or just spouting off random thoughts. This one in particular is pretty random:
