Dudes. They will most likely introduce ladders. That would mean everyone will have to start fresh (aka no gold, no items, no nothing). Hence, everything that's not ladder will be worthless. It won't matter account bound or not. I am thinking, that they might enable gold / gems / materials trading on ladder characters (or on all characters in the live game). It might be possible to trade unidentified items, because, why make it unidentified, if you are the only person able to use it? Too damn early to tell, tho.
Anyhow, take a look at the RoS beta on Twitch.tv --> it is ridiculous in many aspects. They already changed some skills and made it like much harder than it was the first 4 days. This beta test aims to test the game thoroughly in all it's aspects. I am pretty sure it will look much different by the time they go live with it.
Oh, and another thing- these account bound legendaries aren't that bad of an idea. One random drop completely changes the way you play your character, in matter of skills and items you use and tactics you employ. That's a good thing, because it will grow boring slower that way, compared to a scenario, where you have the AH or free trade with thousands of people and you can pick these items on demand. You can't just go to a forum, check the top 5 best builds and pick one, then go and get(buy, trade) the items you need- you have to farm for them and there's no guarantee you'll ever get them. Much more people will play that kind of a game and for much longer. Having that., all we botters need, is a way to capitalize on this market, or in other words, something to bot and sell. Look at it that way- D3 classic was big botting money at first, but since the game is completely retarded, people grew sick of it and stopped playing. So, it became very hard to make money, because there weren't enough people willing to buy anything. RoS will be different- there will be enough people, but there (for now) isn't anything to bot and sell. I guess we need to wait and see what will that thing be, if there is ever one.
Cheers
