Lazyraider - Pyromancer Fire Mage

Just a hint: The explosion of Living Bomb makes a huge DPS increase and therefore Living Bomb should only be used again after it really expired.

Which it should do?
You using newest SVN?

My mistake.. was using an old version, works brilliant with the newest! :)

Combustion

Is There a way to 'Self Cast' Combustion instead of the bot/cc popping it for me?

A second possibility is to use Scorch before instant Pyroblast. The Scorch cast time is long enough to allow any Fireballs or Frostfire Bolts to travel to their target, so if it crits it won't munch any ignites. Also, it has no travel time of its own, so it's crit won't be munched. And finally, it will refresh the Improved Scorch debuff on the target (Assuming the mage has this talent, which most deep-fire mages do). This bug in the ignite mechanic has given scorch a synergy with Hot Streak, however this synergy is by fault and not by design.

hard hard would this be to implement? or is it already?

I'll look into it, but that will require some serious testing on my part
I'm already looking into a way to have the CC not use button on heroic ultraxion, if we haven't procced "Cauterize", so that CC can react as a soaker. But i'm still looking into this

Luckily there is no movement on ultraxion, so it'll probably either be 1 of 2 scenarios

1: You enable a setting called "Soaker" through the GUI when it's your time to soak a ultraxions cast

2: You run CC as "normal mode" untill it's your turn to soak a spell and then change to "Heroic Mode" when it's your turn

Problem is that the CC has no way of knowing WHEN it's your turn to soak the spell

Other thing i can do is:

Disable button usage of heroic mode on Hour of Twilight but not on Fading Light, so player will have to click Hour of Twilight buttons himself

What do YOU think?

I'll probably have to run this through Fiftypence (My trusty advisor and tech support) as well

Thank you for considering it!

Personally I am ok with this option, as you said there is no movement, and there is nothing us for us to do. Plus there is already a ton of tools to tell us when to click it, and the timing on heroic is so fast I dont think I'd want to be fumbling through options mid-fight when my soaker group turn comes around.

The CC could be coded to switch to "soaker" mode with a key press.

either way you have to interact, don't see a difference between pressing a key or clicking the button

Got a good point there and we are only talking Heroic Modes (And let's be honest, you'd have to be a bit awake on those anyways)

Is it possible to add a scorch cast before instant pyro cast so we dont loose loads of dmg from ignite munching? When i do it manual i gain from 2 - 5k dps in LFR.

is it me or cc doesnt use evocation?

It uses evocation for me, sometimes it just has to get really low on mana.

I brought up this same issue only a few posts ago, and I believe one of the dev's is looking into it. :crossesfingers:

Uses evocation when you have like 10 k mana left, i'll probably change that a bit
Yeh i'll implement it, just need to set up my new PC

love the cc mate very well done, altho id say it needs to use fireblast on cooldown, as it clears when it procs anyway! increase in dps cant be bad.

also can you explain the differences between your Dragons soul, solo mode, etc etc? cheers

Dragon Soul modes was introduced by Shaddar, to be able to program in specific behavior depending if it's Heroic Mode, Normal Mode or LFR

For instance: Deathshade is coded so if you have Normal or Heroic enabled on Morchock, it'll use Feint on the stomp.

For the mage CC, there's no real need for it.
Though in the next release, if you set the CC to Heroic - on ultraxion the CC wont use button for Hour of Twilight anymore. This is due to the fact, that firemages need to soak some of the hour of twilights - and there's no real way of making the CC smart enough to know when it's your turn to soak a cast

About the Fireblast, from what i can gather and read - it should only be used when doing aoe damage, to spread debuffs, this is why it is not being used on single targets.

Indeed this would result in a large dps loss outside of aoe use.
