I tried my aluminum foil breathing device but I had to quit when I turned blue.

I want ith items and dupes

I'd agree if we were talking about WoW.
You can trade 100k on WoW, and be looking at a ban the next day.
On D3, I've traded literally billions of gold since it came out, and have been botting 24/7 on, atm, 10 accounts. And I got Nothing.

This game is about farming endlessly for those perfectly rolled item, and trading for them. That's what Diablo has always been about.
If they wanted to ban people for trades, I imagine they could have very easily done that by now.

I wish I had a better PC, I'd prolly barely run 2 accounts :-) - And I only bought 1 session, before the injunction, stupid me :p

But you sell gold yourself. At least it sounds like that. The ones banned this far are generally the ones that have sold it to chinamen.

I've sold A LOT to the chinese.
The people that have gotten banned are:

* Hellbuddy users.
* D3Mimic users.
* SOME AH botters.
* SOME AutoIt botters.

All detection based. Nothing to do with trades themselves.
Most VS users have been left untouched so far, even though the bot has been deemed "detected" weeks ago. The only ones that got banned so far are the ones that also fit the above criteria.

But there's also quite a lot of HB users that have botted 24\7 since release. W/o getting banned. So there has to be a reason some get banned and some don't.

I could say the same about the people that sell to the chinese, which are the vast majority (at least over @ VS), yet none have been touched.
In the end, we'll never know the criteria, but when a hundred people report a ban on the same day on the Hellbuddy forums (and only there), you know they were the target.

What I can tell you is that there's a LOT of people @ VS that do 24/7 with multiple accounts, and that sell to the chinese, that have not gotten banned YET.
I doubt they were purposely spared if that's what Blizzard was looking for (as in 24/7 botting or selling to the chinese).

What happens is that people love playing detective and talking out of their asses.
If you look at the people that have gotten banned with each banwave, and see what they had in common, it's fairly obvious that it was detection of whatever they were using.

The game is built with farming in mind. The real factor of determining from it would be if they accurate record the coordinates of each movement and compared to how often and precisely players continue to hit those coordinates.

They removed the checkpoint in the next patch, US already got it, EU tomorrow :(

No they didn't. Not that I played on US servers but I googled this for 10 minutes now, within the last 24 hours this is the only place on the whole internets it has been mentioned. You just messed yours up. Select another quest, RESET it, and then go back to it and get a new one.

Would not surprise me at all if they left it there to fish for bots, There is no humanly way you can do it for more than 4 hours a day by hand without kiling yourself.

Still, they need hard evidence, which is why they have Warden. But let's be honest, honorbuddy is going strong and wow has warden.

I'm doing it manual.. just finish 1hour I earn 410K ms 25% gf 180%... :)

Ah have, while watching something on justin.tv it isn't that bad cause it is so mindless you barely have to pay attention. :O
Course did the insane wow achievement when it first came out, farm Dire Maul for days on end will allow you to endure anything.

haha i suppose, i used to farm Devilsaurs in the vanilla wow, but still atleast that was challenging,
And the insane achievement, son you are driven, imagine if you actually put your determination to good use hehehe.

I used HB to get me my Insane title, botted the ENTIRE thing.

Anyone that is an actual gamer, could easily sit for 4 hours and grind something. You must have joined gaming post Wrath.

The thread honestly should end with this.

Lol.

Could Sarkoth be bot bait? Sure. But so can *anything* else in the world of Diablo.

And for people that are thinking of getting banned for trading millions of gold, think of ol' Athene.

The problem is no legitimate gamers are killing Sarkoth like this and its pumping huge amounts of botted money into the economy. Just seems like it would be so easy for blizzard to fix this on so many different levels...
blizzard doesnt fix anything, thats why i am botting!

Come on guys, we are a community lets keep the topic of conversation above the belt yeah?
