Klovnene's guide to "the insane"

Darkmoon fair rep requires a lot (I don't remember the exact number) of decks to turn in for rep. the purple ones (nobles... storms.. prisms.. etc) can only be turned in for 1 week each month.

The rest of the reps are just an annoying grind. (Ravenholdt requires a rogue level 51 +)

I got all to exalted except darkmoon faire in a week, and nop didnt bot 24 hours a day.
Got a friend rogue to farm the lockboxes while i got the other factions up.
If u got a inscriptor and herber u can probly get the darkmoon faire rep to exalted in 2 months by farming deck's ur self with abit of luck with cards.

For darkmoon faire ur gona need about 60 epic deck's after doing the turn in q's to 2000/6000 friendly
or farm 14000 rogue deck's.

It's a controversy subject. Some on the web said we have to maintain your exalted status with Steamwheedle cartel and the honored status with Bloodsail buccaneers to validate the FoS, and some not...

So finally, I've done a request in WoW and a gamemaster said me we HAVE to maintain both. I argumented I saw other answers on the web and he added I could feel free to not maintain these rep but when the FoS won't validate I won't be able to complain in another request.

Personally, I didn't take the risk so I begun with the Bloodsail rep and actually, I've been killing some pirates.

Meh. I don't ever plan on wasting the time to do this until my iLvl on all toons is 391.
I knew it was required to be the same at the end originally, but that's straight from WoWhead where it should be correct. Whatever. Be Insane at your own risk.

It took me 2 and 1/2 weeks to bot the lockboxes (18 hours a day usually) so assuming you don't have a friend, SoL.

It used to be required to have both at same time, it no longer is.
if you want the proof, i will PM you my two of my toons that have the insane (both have hated rep with steemwheedle atm)

I believe you, there are so many people say that it cannot be wrong.
It just hurts me that a gm said I have to maintain them.
Anyway, the profiles available in this thread are made to complete this FoS by maintaining them, so I'm not worry for people who want to be an Insane with HB :)

I have the title on several toons (yeah, multiple insane.. I know..) and I did not have a good rep with bloodsail at the time of completion on any of the toons. I discussed the matter with a GM and here is why you get separate explanations and maybe results:

In the past, the game didn't track your highest rep, just your current rep. However, at some stage that changed. That means that if you had good rep with bloodsail prior to the change and dumped it prior to the change, you are out of luck.

If you currently are honored or better with bloodsail, it means you can ruin the rep with them and still get the title.

Why does it matter? Well because you can hand in cloth (assuming you have the funds) to significantly shorten the grind.
