I havn't tried the fray island profile, but normally if you're doing it by hand the steemwheedle cartel 2 area is far better. Compared to by hand though, even the SWC2 spot is meh, but after all, it's a bot :)

I suggest using the steemwheedle cartel 2, it worked well for me.
 
well im revered with Gadgetzan atm, and still friendly with Booty bay and Everlook, and honored with Ratchet and i get 5 rep with ratchet at fray island, and 2-3 with the others. So to me it seems better/faster to stay at fray island so i get Ratchet up fast to exalted same time as Gadgetzan. When i get same rep with Booty bay and Everlook both places.

you're getting more rep with ratchet because that's the goblin city that corresponds to that area.

In tanaris, the reason you have so much more rep with gadgetzan than the others is because while in tanaris you're getting more rep with them. If you were killing the pirates outside booty bay, you'd get BB rep faster.

edit: tanaris wins over the other because of it having more mobs

From personal experience, generally tanaris is better - but at times it gets a bit crowded, at least it did on my realm. And fray island is more or less deserted 24/7, i used to switch between the two spots judging by how many others were farming there.
 
Thanks for the profiles they are awsome, i got exalted with ravenholdt and steamwheedle in no time, only got darkmoon faire rep back, gona be abit harder. But thanks again !
 
For anyone going for this now is a great time. With Hallows End you can get the buff for an extra 10% rep gain and make your farming go a tad faster than usual. Hope that helps some of y'all.
 
So I've tried using the mentioned herbing profile for Darkmoon but I cannot figure out how to run a GB1 profile on the GB2 client. I'd imagine its not feasible and I'm a fairly new user.. anyone have any ideas?
 
I believe you have to install the plugin that lets you convert GB1 profiles into the GB2 format. It was forever ago when I used that profile but I think that's what you need to do.
 
hmm somehow my charecter is fully exalted at Steamwheedle cartel, would it be a bitch to get the tittle now? :S

No, you don't need to have all the rep's at the same time :)

You do NOT have to maintain your exalted status with Steamwheedle cartel nor the Honored status with Bloodsail buccaneers to obtain this title anymore, this have been confirmed by two gamemasters ingame.

Well, I've done it this way and it worked fine. I was about Honored with Steamwheedle, so figured I'd carry on to Exalted. After I got exalted with Steamwheedle, I then got exalted with Bloodsail. Worked fine.

This was pre-Cata tho, so I guess you take your chances :p
I did mine purely by hand, but if I was botting it, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Not like you have to make much effort if it doesn't award the FoS ;)

Indeed. I added that to my previous post. Bloodsail and Steamwheedle don't need to be at the required reputations, but have to have been there sometime, and all others will have to be at exalted when you expect to complete it.

it is obtainable for all classes.
It took me ~ 3 months (I botted the lockboxes for ravenholdt, and the bloodsail rep)
i'd imagine it'd take arround the same if you bot all of it.
