Kain is a straight-forward end-game Dragoon routine.

It features a very simple HUD style settings form for quick toggles, option hotkey system, and also a positional overlay if you want to use it.

Kain strives to perform the most optimal DPS rotation, but I need your help!
Please either message me on Skype (exmortem0), or reply here, with constructive criticism about the rotation

An SVN is available for easy updating: https://svn.riouxsvn.com/kain/
Please use the SVN, I will be updating frequently and won't always post a new zip.

Code:
9/3
- Fixed a bug with BoTD

8/29
 - Added a hotkey system
      - Works as a quick toggle for the form

8/25
 - Should not use Keen Flurry, Foresight, or Featherfoot anymore unless you're being targeted
 - Fixed Jump for lower levels

8/24
 - Added Defensives option
 - Added Potions option (uses Draconian Strength)
 - Shouldn't use Jump's after last combo spells or if you have enhanced wheeling thrust or sharper fang and claw anymore

8/11
 - Improved rotation
 - Added a debug window

08/10
Added a positional overlay
 - Toggle it on and off by clicking on the P
 - Red means you should be in the specified position, green means you're where you should be
 - BotD setting added on the form

08/09
Rotation updates
 - Should only use 1 jump per oGCD
 - Geirskogul should only be used during oGCD
 - Now uses Jump if Power Surge is on cool down for more than 20 seconds
 - Various rotation improvements

08/07
Movement Added

looks good, had to remove movement from the rotation file because of errors on the start. Also with new dragoon routine should only have 1 rotation of CT and 1 rotation of FT or else CT and Disembowel, and Phlebotomize fall off the target. Not quite 60 yet so i will do more testing when I get there

I'm using it right now, looks good so far. Thank you Exmortem!

I'm having an issue with the SVN update, whenever I do an update using your SVN link it will create another kain folder inside the main one. I'm not going to update it till I find out how to fix this issue. Any ideas?

Thanks again /bow

Thanks for the feedback, you mind PMing me the error or sending it to me through the skype chat?

Thanks for trying it out. The routine should start without issues anyhow, it's how the file structure is on my computer.

Hey, great routine. Just wondering, Geirskogul isn't being casted offGCD when i tried it on dummies, is that intended?

It should be offGCD, i'll look into it later tonight when i'm back home. Thanks!

I will hit you up on skype in a little while, im about an hour away from capping dragoon lol

Also, is it possible to limit 1 jump per oGCD, sometimes it'll try to fit in 2 jumps in one oGCD, which delays the next GCD and also increases the chances of getting hit by AoE that happen to spawn under you

Yes, will do; it should be doing that now but i'll look into why it's not. Thanks.

Just got this from the SVN got this error when starting RB.

[20:33:39.887 N] Compiler Error: c:\Users\Dave\Desktop\rbuddy3\Routines\Kain\Rotation.cs(21,19) : error CS0103: The name 'Movement' does not exist in the current context

Yeah, I forgot to add a file in the SVN, i'll add it tonight. The zip should work for now.

I got an update out and it's parsing a lot better for me now, thanks for the feedback guys. Keep it coming. :)

Edit: I added Movement.cs to the SVN, and changed the file structure. If you have issues, delete your current folder and redownload/extract the zip.

Another update, I added a positional overlay; it just tries to assist you by telling you whether you if you should be flanking or behind your target. Red means you should get to that position, green means you're standing in the right spot. It's still very much a work in progress.

Wheeling Thrust and Fang & Claw have the highest priority, followed by flanking if Heavy Thrust is at 5 seconds or less remaining, followed by getting behind your target if your last spell was Disembowel.

WoW! This is great update !
Btw is this routine only for single target?

that's awesome, was just talking about this the other day in skype. Can't wait to try this out

Awesome, it's working flawlessly. With the positional helper, i almost never miss my positionals anymore. Also, it's great how the script blows the remaining time on my BotD with Geirskogul when BotD comes back up from CD. I'm seeing a 100 dps increase from this script over yesterday's version

It is only single target at the moment, i'm not sure if it's even worth adding an AOE rotation; seems like the DPS is always higher single? But it's worth looking into.

Yeah, I saw a massive increase also; thanks for the feedback.

Out of curiosity...has anyone compared this DRG routine to the likes of Ultima/YRB? my DRG isn't max yet so I wouldn't be doing a good comparison.

I've been using Ultima before I found this one. Kain's script for DRG is better. Differences are that Kain's has better usage of BotD/Geirskogul, has a positional helper, CD/Stun/Jump/Battle Litany management, more cross class support, while Ultima's has a toggleable AoE rotation. You'll get more dps from Kain's on single target training dummy than Ultima's if you're using it as a combat assist.
