Just sold 400k...

people keep asking for secrets but there none.

The whole *secret* in WoW lies before you, use every profession, make mats sell them on AH, use trade to your advantage, play more AH and sell the good you gained by farming.

Eternals, etc...

Then don't buy useless crap for your char, try to see if you can make it first. Then invest. I have 3.5mill now sitting there to be either stolen, swallowed, taken, w/e... secrets? none. Use your common sense wisely. check for mats sell them, useless items? post on AH people might still need them!

really its just the lazy-ness most have to say omg how did you get it!! ... we are all lazy yes!, also keep in mind the more you make the easier you can build a empire of gold.
last but not least realm economy plays a roll, if you can't earn more then 2k a day by those tips..(not rlly tips). then you most likely have chosen the wrong realm to play on.

I'm so excited to get my lock to 80 (75 atm going strong) and my other lock (58) to farm with herb/mining.


With two chars running mining/herb 24/7, how much can you make a day? 5k?
 
I've made close to 600k with my accounts. I've been mining most of the time and I use the titanium myself. I do have Jc and enchanting which I make stuff and sell on ah. Got some things now setup on my account to sell more stuff and will see how that goes. Which I had looked into it years ago as would have made millions by now. Research you ah see what sells and what doesn't check your competition. My main competition buys all my herbs but he has a jc as well. I just wait till he logs off and list my auctions to undercut him. He does the same to me :)
 
The Econ is due for a slowdown. We havent seen any new content in a while so people are just working on alts and not spending alot of cash on crafting mats and such. With Cata around the corner there is a hesitation to spend any gold at all knowing that the gear and mats of today will pretty much be worthless.

When cata hits, one of two things could happen. 1. The price of gold goes up as people are scrambling to get the best gear/mats/etc. Or 2. The price of gold goes down even further because of all the gold you can get doing the new dailies and such. As I remember a while back blizz said that they were going to introduce dailys that would really pay. This means the demand for gold would go down and so would the price.

Blizzards best weapon against gold sellers is market inflation.

With an auction house it's hard to inflate gold. If stuff is in demand the "value" payed for it will always stay the same, whether this is 1000g of 100g depends on how readily available gold is.

I make about 7k /12h with one char (or well its probably more, i came back after 12h too see whole bank and bags where filled so maybe 8-10h)
 
actually i stopped farming ores & herbs.I am just farming whelps with 3 accounts 20 hours a day getting a total of arround 15 whelps. With that i make something between 20.000 and 35.000 a day. Lot more then farming other stuff and very less time effort.

IMO its more risky, what do you have to say about this?
 
i spent a lot on trying to be as safe as possible but now i try to make as much gold as possible. The possibilities are changing from time to time and if i get my hands on something new like farming whelps now (never knew it would be that profitable) i try to get the most out of it.
I have a very good infrastructure so if there is a ban it will always hit only 1 account, so i don't care a lot.(there isn't any connectivity between the accounts)

Same with poeple saying "don't put thousand of stacks into the ah"...well been doing this now for almost one year....doesn't interest anyone. Sure..perhaps there is a higher ban risk..but i don't care.
 
There are secrets to making gold however, yes people are lazy as hell. Nobody wants to spend hours on the auction house or in instances but if you want to sometimes make 7k/hr or more that's what you have to do. These gold guides that claim up to 500-600g/hr are the tip of the iceberg you make that just in gold drops in a 20 minute zg run.... Yes, it's true that most of the raids are soloable only by ret pallies but... buy a fresh one or bot one. A ret pally is a MUST have for any gold farmer and they're extremely easy to gear.

Sure you can do everything by hand with a pally but if you are well informed(bugs/exploits) you can make hundred of thousands a day..just with exploits. Sure the risk is high but getting an account banned for a few 100k gold is worth it.
For the people that don't know what i am talking about..there has been an exploit back in the beginning of 3.x.x where it was possible to withdraw gold from the guild bank(before you had to create very very huge lags) and then after you hit the button instantly put out the lan cable. You had the gold in your bags but still the same amount in the guild bank. Since you can't make such client - server things 100% safe..such exploits will always come and go.
 
True, but exploits are highly bannable. I was trying to teach botting methods with the least ban risk. Nobody wants to farm 400k and then 2g later be banned.
 
may I ask if you did this thru the AH-method or hand2hand with a seperate account?
 
When I sold gold, I waited till I had a couple 100kg before I started unloading them. Just in case I got nailed, least I would have made something. The last few months though, gold selling has been shit, and shince my guildies kept quite about me botting, I made them all pretty rich. Ive known them for over 5 years, and have always told them if they need anything in game let me know. They knoew how much I had, yet, rarely ever asked for anything. Good friends.

* Little off topic sorry.... But grats on the sale.
