Is anyone else feeling discouraged about the price of profiles in the buddystore?

I was just browsing to see what's new and I'm blown away that rep grinding profiles which USED to be free and high quality are now being sold for more then 15 Euros. Not to mention profiles going for over 150EU each. To me personally just seems like the wrong direction we're heading in.
 
Some of them are worth it, some are not. You just have to decide what you want more.

I just recently spent $20 for an amazing profile that will give me long term results from an amazing profile maker (Gatherit) and it was WELL worth the $20.
 
If you feel like its too expensive you are always welcome to make your own profile and put it out here for free :)
 
Does anyone think it's wrong to sell houses for over 500,000 euros, it just seems wrong.
 
There are some that have value.. others are 15 euro's or way more, for some reason... You have to be smart and not pay the guys that are obviously trying to take advantage.
 
It's certainly discouraging to come back from a botting break and see some of the routine forums with zero non-store versions.

Hello Fireworrks, Just wanted to swing by and let you know I did see this. I wasn't originally going to respond but then I thought I would let you know that I do create plenty of free profiles. In-fact my latest product on the store is... well FREE profiles :)
 
yes! I agree.. some profiles are way to expensive.

Problem i have with the buddystore is that you cannot get the xml file and that you cannot use arelog to load the tasks in. Bots are a different story.

Always love Gatherit's profiles tho, they are great :)
 
I don't mean this to be mean or rude.. but your best bet is to create your own. It really isn't hard at all, and you'll have your own "custom" profile that no one else has.

I agree that some of the stuff on the store is WAY overpriced. But then, there are some that are really worth it.

I think every one here has a very valued opinion. There is some really great profiles out there and I personally pay for a routine and I think it's worth it. Gatherit I'm sorry if you feel the finger was pointed at you but I was just using you as an example.

The point I was trying to make is, it feels like the community is turning against itself IMO. We as a community used to be about building things together to improve botting as a whole. It's easier now then it ever has been to make scripts, however some people are taking advantage, open source has gone out of the window and it's all about competition and profit.

Thanks a ton we appriciate the nice words.

I will see if one us cant look and see what can be done about the arelog thing and hbrelog thing in a few days here when our plates are a little bit neater/cleaner/less heaping full.

And the effect for this is the Pirates will come and everyone will lose.

I use Gatherit profiles, the prices are reasonable.
But there is some folks in Buddystore trying to extort us, selling overpriced profiles, plugins, routines.
 
i have not yet bought anything from buddystore, and i am doing fine. nobody is forcing you to buy anything.
 
I have bought the TuanHA profiles, Millz's BgFarmer and will probably buy some more when I can make a profit from it. :) The prices will adjust themselves.

you already can load profiles from the store with HBrelog have been able to since the store went live. Not sure about Arelog as I have never used it.

Take a look at botbases instead of profiles if you want to farm reputation.
 
Use to be able to take profiles and customize them to our own liking, now we cant.

This is a good point. High priced store items will only encourage piracy. Reasonably priced store items are much less likely to be pirated and more likely to be purchased.

The pirated stuff will always be used by a lot more people than the stuff that is not being pirated, so the idea of keeping it exclusive through a high price may completely backfire.
