Instancebuddy - A Premium Dungeon Finder Bot

very nice work with instance buddy...

i have a request for this. Can u make a function to disable auto roll in IB? he only have to play sound if a roll is in progress. is this possible?

Turn off "Roll for Loot" in the options.
 
Just a fast question, I searched the thread but got no results.

Will IB work if I minimize wow?

EDIT: Because by some reason, my computer uses way less CPU and Memory, if wow is minimized. I just don't have the time to test it, so if anyone have tested it, please let me know.

You don't have time to press the minimize button ???
 
not working well with ranged. he keeps trying to loot while combat is still going on. and then ends up trying to move to aften and not casting. Also if he misses one and moves on to next set of mobs, He then trys to go back for the missed loot not the one at feet. So not good for ranged as i can see.
 
i make level 70 twinks, and i want them to be able to farm tbc instances for rep but they only seem to have wotlk insances that i can que up for =/

This is what we need to afk Bot with IB. Join only Random Heroics which we have defined somewhere xD

I had the "[Instancebuddy v2.1.1.2]:No entrance point assigned in dungeon script. Please report to Instancebuddy thread." and got tired of it :)

IB doesn't loot, do you have a loot plugin installed in HB? If you do, disable it.
 
Sorry the quate did not come up was responding to kicks post about how the plugin worked for melle, and he stated he did not know if it worked for range.

Yes, but I don't have the time to wait to see if it was working or not. Lol .. you obviously misunderstood my question.

But, I tried it and I got some pretty strange results. I can on 3 characters (all 70+ in Northrend):
One of them was getting 90k xp/hour (and corpse running when I came back to my computer).
Another one of them was disconnected, and had been so for almost all the time I left it. I was just about to ding when I left it, and the average xp/hour in the new level was 44k. I guess it bugged with the "exit instance upon an ending dungeon" thing.
The last one of them was actually still running great, with 195k xp/hour. Honorbuddy sent an error message, but the bot was still running. It close when I answered to the error message.

Conclusion: 33% was disconnected. 33% was going strong and the last 33% was maybe still going. I'm not quite sure about the last one and how well it was running.

So i'm still not really sure about the minimizing thing, but I guess it works since one of the bots had no problem.
 
Anyone else having any issues with random heroics, like Oculus, POS. like in Oculus it just dismounts in mid air and it doesn't auto remount on the drake
 
You mean problems with currently blacklisted dungeons?

Currently blacklisted dungeons:

Blackfathom Deeps : Due to mesh issues and big jumps etc.
The Mechanar : Corpse run is not available because of flying mounts
The Botanica : Corpse run is not available because of flying mounts
The Arcatraz : Corpse run is not available because of flying mounts
Ajzol Nerub : HB & IB bugging at or after the jump to the pit
AhnKahet The Old Kingdom : Mesh issues at the spider web ramp at the way to last boss
Oculus : Encounters not avaliable because of flying mounts
Trial of the Champion : Due to first encounter that can't be handled
The Forge of Souls : Corpse run is not available because of flying mounts
Pit of Saron : Corpse run is not available because of flying mounts
Halls of Reflection : Corpse run is not available because of flying mounts

I'm sure pretty much everyone has problems with those

Pro tip: Read the front page with the author's notes before you post with your problems
