Remember last time the bot was down and I posted a thread asking, "Has Blizzard Devised a Way to thwart HB?" and I got pages of death threats? Well who called it? Its coming noobs and there's nothing you can do to stop it.
 
Funny how your so confident. doesn't matter who makes the security or how good it is, there will always be a backdoor.

Just gotta find the key.
 
My point is I received a very warm response last time and look what's happening. That HB update sounds borderline frantic and I'm not doubting the dev's ability to find a backdoor. What I'm saying is sooner or later Blizz is going to make a detection software so air tight the dev's are gonna say screw it. It's not worth another HB update, see ya guy's in the funny pages.

dunno how you come to the conclusion that you "called it" when you quote yourself asking a question not making a statement.

as nooblet said there is always a way to get passed the security, some people are just to impatient or foolish with there botting.
 
You're calling obvious stuff, everything comes to an end eventually, be it this bot because of unforseen circumstances or wow ending, its all just a matter of time.

This thread is pretty much like me saying 'Its going to rain in the future' then next week when it rains 'called it noobs'

That was the title of my post. Anyone who was cruising the forums during the last content patch will remember it. I've been trying to find it so I can quote it, but it was basically a post that talked about Blizzards attempts to shut down HB. If I remember correctly I think I even got a moderator on my case about it. Not to mention PM's for days telling me to kill myself.
 
relax noobs hb will be back up and running soon dont talk bullshit just sit and relax and wait :)

If you ask me bliz should be thankful there is even a bot for wow . and even share a part of the profits with the buddy team ( and yeah i'm actually serious / not trolling ) :)

that's exactly my thought. blizzard should definitely be thankful for honorbuddy. i mean seriously, i would definitely cancel my subscriptions for now and ever without hesitating a second if i could never use HB again (and i'm pretty sure most of the HB users are feeling the same). there's absolutely no way i will do certain things "by hand" after 7 years anymore.
 
China you can lock this whenever you want. I made my point, now I'm getting more of the same shit I got on my original post. Sometimes I just don't understand the HB community.

I think that from now on before starting an mmo i will wait until there is a bot for it :)

Really? You are surprised people are flaming you? What was the point of this thread if not to essentially flame people that didn't agree with what you were saying? Shocker that people flamed you for stating something so obvious as if it were dooms day. Blizzard improved its detection, now devs look to bypass it. HB will stop when the devs say it stops. You don't understand getting flamed? We don't understand your need to post nonsense and then tell us you are some sort of prophet that has seen the light.
 
My original point was that with the increased legal pressure this and other companies are facing, sooner or later its going to come to an end. I don't mind getting flamed, I don't mind getting called a troll or what have you. That's fine as it is people expressing their opinions, much like I was doing. What I don't need is a PM box full of people telling me to kill myself. What's the point in that?

Agreed those people aren't too sharp but honestly you can't be surprised by this. Isn't that the typical response nowadays?

Another person that doesn't know a thing about programming.
There are always holes.
there is no such thing as "perfect" defense.
 
The reason there are holes is because they allow 3rd party addons. Because of this there will always be holes for bots to come in. Basically they just have to find the right avenue. The only way Blizzard can beat bots was not allow 3rd party addons, however they allowed those to hopefully curtail botting, instead they allowed everyone to Bot...
