The reason there are holes is because they allow 3rd party addons. Because of this there will always be holes for bots to come in. Basically they just have to find the right avenue. The only way Blizzard can beat bots was not allow 3rd party addons, however they allowed those to hopefully curtail botting, instead they allowed everyone to Bot...

And why is that a bad thing ?
Every great mankind discovery was mostly based on mistakes or accidents

Never once did i say it was a bad thing. I'm just commenting on people's "it will eventually come to an end." It will be near impossible to do so because of Blizzard's approach with 3rd Party Addons.

Nothing in the world of computers is 100% secure. No matter how secure you make it, someone is smart enough to break the security.


Blizzard made wow to make money. Botters pay money to Blizz. Blizz plays both sides of the fence, botters and non botters, their bank doesn't know the difference. To make the non botters happy, they ban the most obvious botters to keep them in check while making the non botters happy that someone got banned botting. Had Blizz wanted to ban all botters, they could have done that many years ago.
