lol i like this one:))

my cat jumped on my keyboard and licked my face

i was frustrated @ getting owned in pvp so i smashed my face into the keyboard for a few mins

my friend spiked my drink with class A drugs and i started licking my keyboard and then proceeded to make love to it

let your imagination run wild

Mm...weird thing is.

2 days ago I logged on for the first time in 2 years. Had a fresh install of the wow client.
I didn't do anything, just checked my gear and inventory for about 5 min and logged off again.
Then I bought honorbuddy. Installed it yesterday. In the meantime the patch went live and I downloaded that. When I logged on for the first time after installing honorbuddy I got the message my account was locked and I received the 'suspicious behavior' email.
I changed my password and logged on again. That worked but I wonder if I won't be banned soon.

lol damn i got a warning for saying 'asshole' in trade chat. It sucks cause they didn't give me a ban but they say they would watch me. Luckily i'm not a gold trader/seller. Phew,
Lesson learnt, never attract uneeded attention...

I see many people saying Blizz "saves up" detected/reported botters and suddenly there is a ban wave. I strongly disagree with this theory based on the following:

In the four years I have been botting, using about every public bot ever made, I have had one 72 hour suspension and one perma-ban account. The perma ban was pretty much my own fault. I rolled a new bank toon, sent it 60k gold, made a new gbank and bought 6 tabs, then sent it 3 tabs of titanium bars and 3 tabs of saronite bars. Received a perma ban less than an hour later. As for the 72 hour ban, I hand leveled a priest to level 55 on a brand new account, then rolled a DK and started running a grinding bot to level the DK. That account was 72 hour banned within 6 hours of first starting the bot. So, in both cases, there was no time for either account to be "saved up" for a so called banwave or scare tactic. With that in mind, I still stand behind my opinion that Blizz bans accounts as soon as they are detected or as soon as a report for botting has been investigated.

If you were banned that early, there's something wrong with the bot. Were you watching it? It was prolly stuck on something looking retarded and you got some player reports.

it is because of the first thing, no correlation to HB. i get it constantly when i login via different computers.

personally only use GB and sell gold weekly- 20k+. no suspension or ban.

I've been doing around 15,000 to 25,000 every week with different methods and never been caught. Depends the method and the way you're using your bot.
I never let my bot run many hours straight and I'm always around. Seeing television, when I'm studying or doing any project to my university. Also, I farm a lot on my university since we're protected by Proxy and I think it's harder to them to detect it, since I need to tunnel to be able to run WoW.

Also, depends the methods you're using to get gold/materials. I don't place on Action House more than 5 stacks a time and I never place stacks of 20, always 5 or single stacks. Everything I caught I don't directly sell it. I'll leave it for a few days on my Guild Bank and will do something with my Ores. Smelt, do items or basically sell them to any guildie or RL friend.
Always be realistic on what you're doing and don't be caught.

Selling to private buyers I don't think it's a good idea at all. Nothing tells me if they get banned for some reason, they don't tell my name as well. So I always use the Action House to sell stuff.
For whisps or players speaking to you, I've created a new window to place there General Chat, Say, Yell and Whisp. So I can keep tracking on what's going around me.

According to the topic, think a ban wave is about to come, Blizzard know how Gatherbuddy/Honorbuddy work. Maybe not from the officialproducts, but I know there are a few sites with *****ed versions, since some friends of mine told me they use it...

Also, keep warned that many reports are coming from another botters. They know how the routes work and can easly spot when it's a bot or not. And since they're there for the same reason as you (make gold) if they get ride of you (Another botter which will steal gold from them), they'll report you as soon as possible to they get more profit from it.

PS: No, I don't report players, but got whispers from another botters that tell me which profile I was using and they were reporting me, which I told (If you know what I'm doing and using, you use it as well). Never been caught so far.

Got my own iron-on tshirt things and made a botting tshirt myself ;D. Can't get more enrdy than making your own shirt about wow and botting.

why is HB up atm then, becurse MMO-champion.com said ther wil be more ban for botting atm. so HB realy need to make a new version of this before all get banned and losed all the ppl ther had buy HB.

your being paranoid. seriously, the blue post is less then a warning. the proix banwave was because they blizzard did what they always do, "get warden to detect the hack and stop it". thats really all there is to it. the blue post is them basically saying, "yea well we have people working on things, im sure eventually get it done" i explain the reasoning better in this post. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...hampion-blue-post-bot-related.html#post258758

but being paranoid only makes more people paranoid. specially for something as stupid as a blue post.

Just caught my first 48 Hour suspension. Was in vash farming up ore ...for like 15 hours lol. I want to submit a ticket...but i dont think i want blizz digging deeper into my account and the amount of gold i made in the last 3 weeks.

GM talk for "dude, it's 48hrs, GTFO." Some asshole reported you, they banned you for 48h and are not going to really investigate deeper, as it will take them more than 48hrs to really reach a conclusion anyway.

How do you tell no real investigation has taken place ? Well, check the following line of the email.

Following a review of your case, we can confirm that such program has been used on several occasions by your account,

Since HB is undetected, they have no way to "confirm" it has been used before, not to mention if they had a real way to do this, why haven't they permabanned the account "before", as they do with detected bots ?

Basically, all this "Canned Response" type of email says is that you looked suspicious to some asshole, he reported you and since the ban is too short they won't be arsed to investigate or explain themselves to you, as your ban would have expired way before their investigation has reached a conclusion.

Moral of the story is "Look less suspicious to people, because we ban just to be safe". They have no way to tell you this straight away though, as a lot of players will be outraged by such frivolous policies.
