How To- Make a private server and map profiles/mesh with it!

I just can't see the addon in my list of available addons, can't even get started with it.

Septimas that was rude, I have read the whole mmowned thread and from what i can see there should have been many issues with this repack.

so can a private server be made fast yes or no using this guide and links and if so, is there any minimum spec PC for do it?

G: the add-on works perfectly fine for me.

Important: you need to follow the instructions posted on MMOwned. The person who released the build forgot to rename the Item table back to its proper name. So currently the only items in the entire database are Gladiators XXXX

Hey all... I've been dicking with this, and for the most part, it works well... is there an updated list of items available... there are a lot of ICC items that are not available it seems...
Any help is always appreciated!!

For starters +Rep for the post.

However, this repack will deprecate quickly with new updates and patches. Making your own server from scratch and being able to keep it running with new patches and whatnot is covered pretty thoroughly on the MaNGOS website. getmangos.com

There is a lot of information to be absorbed and it's not as hassle free as setting up a repack but it is well worth it if you're interested in that kind of thing.

My personal opinion is that there are enough free servers already out there to make your meshes on that it's really not worth the hassle of keeping your own private server up to date and viable. A quick google search for "WOW private server" will easily yield many results. And if you find a "Fun" server you can get the gear and mounts you need, as well as instant-level 80, to go where you need to go and make the meshes.

And if you want to update this, Ron, the best way is to learn how to do it yourself. Most times you're going to be at the mercy of whoever makes the database for the server you're using. If they don't have an update, and if the server hasn't implemented the new item codes then there is nothing you can do.

Summon the bosses to anywhere, use the .kill command, loot body, repeat if you don't get what you want, my 9 yr old figured that one out

I'm trying to summon a boss... Every way i've typed it in, it doesn't work.
Can someone post the syntax that I should be using?
Say I wanted to summon Kel'Thuzad... what is the full 'wording' of the command?

Sorry for sounding like an idiot. I'm still playing, and some of the syntax throws me for a loop!

thanks for putting this up, btw, it was so simple. anyone know how to spawn ICC bosses? i can't get any of them to spawn, figure it's a database issue. ah well, easy mapping mode.

I think it's .summon 15990

You have to get the NPC id from wowhead or the like.

Attached is the Gamemaster Helper addon, extract the GMH folder to your addons directory, make sure it loads, the when in game, type /gmh show and figure it out from there (much easier than using command line!).
