How To- Make a private server and map profiles/mesh with it!

Here is a site for private server repacks that are currently up to date with the patch 3.3.2 and can be used right after download with a few minor adjustments. If you need help setting anything up let me know. I have been using Private server repacks from this site for over 4 years now. http://www.ac-web.org/forums/ very friendly site. You can create an account it's free and then download the repacks that you can setup and be online on your own private server in just under 10 minutes. Like I said if ya need help with anything just send me a PM or an email at [email protected] This includes bosses from ICC spawned in them. You have a choice between Trinity / Mangos Core or Arcemu. Difference between the two are Trinity / Mangos was built to be alot mroe stable and hold less members while Arcemu was built sorta stable and able to hold hundreds + Members on your server. I currently Run a Trinity / Mangos, since most of the repack servers will have more of the 3.3.2 patch loot, mobs and NPC"s.

You have to get the NPC id from wowhead or the like.

Attached is the Gamemaster Helper addon, extract the GMH folder to your addons directory, make sure it loads, the when in game, type /gmh show and figure it out from there (much easier than using command line!).

if your using arcemu then it's .npc spawn (ID here) 1 <---This one at the end makes it so it stays permantly at the area spawned

Hi, Ive tried doing this a few times but keep getting the same problem, it'll let me log in but only takes me to the realm selection page, which is blank, thats as far as it will let me go

Not sure if this is related but when i run both the MYSQL.bat and loginserver.exe i get a command box which stays open, when i run the arcemu-world.exe the command box closes after a few seconds (is this one supposed to stay open as well?
 
I'm so frustrated they won't send me an activation link I've resent it like 3 times and checked my spam folder!

pm me your config files. It should be in your server/conf folder

thanks for putting this up, btw, it was so simple. anyone know how to spawn ICC bosses? i can't get any of them to spawn, figure it's a database issue. ah well, easy mapping mode.

A lot aren't in the db yet :P
 
Just tested another repack, and I?m still not able to pass the loading screen ;(

There's a shitload in here, which is the best one to grab? Looking for the one with the most npc's spawned and the most items, since I want to use it for CC testing.

The most up-to-date repacks are the Trinity/Mangos cores. A little harder to setup but a hell of alot more stable than Arcemu. Also has alot of More GM commands and they are different. Trinity/mangos GM commands though can be edited in the DB unlike Arcemu/Ascent where they are coded in the core. Most Trinity/Mangos can be found to have most of ICC spawned as well. If not spawned the repack you choose read through what it has to offer and see if it says ICC spawned or ICC mobs/npc's in the db but not spawned.

Hi, i hope you dont mind but it doesnt allow attaching files in pm's (and theres a 5000 letter limit on pm's) so ive posted them here, ive changed them to txt files as the uploader doesnt see .conf

Is it really that bright to have a link to a sig with a toons name in it on these forums? I'm hoping that's just a sig you designed for someone, but tbh it doesn't look that way. Giving away the name of toons you're "attached" too does not safe botting make.... Just saying, not flaming...
 
that toon is a friends toon. Not my real toon. it's an IRL friend.
