How do you guys gear your bots?

I gather gear from drops do quests that I know provide good gear as a reward. I also use a high level char to boost through dungeons up to lvl 72 and ask my m8's for boosts ofc

I buy every 3/4 levels gear on AH

AH every 5 lvls then start BGs after 70 and get mah welfare epics at 80

I would say it depends more on what class you are botting , i didnt mind leaving my lock or pala a few 5 levels or so without getting some greens from a house which were good and a decent price, but my rogue/hunter i try and get gear upgrades when i get training every 2 to 4 levels

Haven't read the post. But do Random Dungeons great exp and you can just bot while you wait on a popup. Most of us bot at night and at Work/School/Sex/BQQ/Party so when your home your online at peak time at least most of us, so queues are pretty fast at any level and sex isn't fun on an empty stomach. The gear you get from the bags will last you very long (10ish levels sub 60) Specially for casters now because of all the +sp gear. 1-2 run pr day would lessen your chance to get under the radar too. So its a win win. If not buy greens every 5(wand*)/10/15/25/40/50/58/68/75/80 thats what i use and have worked very well. Level 1-15 You can go with really shitty gear after the patch that increased 1-15 Base skills like mp/hp, spells mana reduction and so on. Exception would be somewhat weapon oriented classes.

you prob. should do it more often if you're not RAF'ing

due the extra dmg from higher rank spells will cause your xp/h to go higher.

Well, I usually AH some gear every 10 levels or so.. Just 5-10g greens. But I wish there was an addon that auto-accepted that little screen that popped up when trying to equip BoE's.

Upgrade the gear once a while

As I'm leveling from 1-68 I just equip randomly blue/green gear found on the auction houses.
At level 68-77 you should buy the crafted gear, from professions matching your level, since there's 8 pieces of these sets, and they are really nice.
at 77-80 you should buy the blue crafted gear from professions, also 8 parts of this, with some resillience and such
When you finally reach 80, gogo do some daily dungeons (heroics) and you will get some epics. (with the blue crafted gear from 77+ you should have enough gearscore to enter Heroics at 80)

I buy my gear from the Ah every now and then, and use the items dropped from mobs! At higher levels I do some dungeons for gear!
