How do you guys gear your bots?

2 characters per server using raf. One farms stormpeaks one farms sholozar. I did have a few private buyers on one server before back in the fall that paid $5/k. However 90-95% of my sales are to sites. As to which ones it varies but I generally sell to 3 different ones. As of right now i only have 3 chars farming and setup but am pulling in 250-300$ per week. You need to find servers where lichbloom has high demand and sells for 35-60g per stack the higher the better.

Nice. I too have 3 characters running, only got two making gold atm. I dont see how you make so much a week... Would love to make that much. If you have any more advice PM me please

Every 5-10 levels depending on when I'm at the comp I just goto auction house and upgrade my gear. Any more than that is a waste.

Well if you make your own profile, it's not as bad. But I see tons of people using the herbing profile for Storm peaks and I have no clue why since they sell really shit on Stormscale. Wintergrap titanium ore ftw <3

My income went up my 200% by moving to this new, quiet server. I removed herbalism for jewelcrafting since i'll be playing on this DK at catalysm. Wg/switcher makes me around 5k gold a day per farmer.

Just need to find some buyers now, since ~180k gold aint needed for cata and i'm not gonna sell under 1.9$/k

I gear my bots by every 10 levels running 5 instances if i updated slots by then I just buy the gear on ah.

1-60 I just use straight up AH greens

60-70 I will usually craft up a couple of Blue or Purple pieces on one of my mains and fill the rest of the slots with BoE blues and greens from the AH

70-80 I usually BG bot these levels so I start gearing them up with welfare epics as they acquire enough honor to purchase them. By 80 they've usually got a full set waiting for them.

Greens from the AH before 15ish, and I also supplement using the AH on top of the following at every 5-10 levels (definitely at 58-60, 68-70, and 80). Once he hits 15ish and can do instances, I'll do at least a few at the proper level (maybe slightly over-level for the place) so I can get the random reward bags, plus some good gear (hopefully) from the instance itself. 58+ I do BGs to get all the good to great PVP gear, and usually they are upgrades for the crap I have at the time. 68+ quest bot to get some real solid rewards, switching off between that and instances. If I still have any real crap gear at this point, I make a trip to the AH. Once I hit 80, buy stuff with the Triumph emblems I have from running normals, to gear up for heroics (depending on class), and round it out with either crafted or BOE epics on the AH. If you are poor at 80, just run BGs until you have a full set. If you are only going to ever do herb/mining, go the BG route all the way. Cheapest and easiest, IMHO.

I usually level manually from 78-80 and get a few questing greens/blues from the start.
Then I use Instancebuddy and PvP to gear them up once they hit 80..

I get gear as I go... but with the new questing (still trying to work out the bugs) ... you won't even need most of the drops or stop the bot and AH it up

I usually get gear as I go too, depends on the group but mostly instance gear. Others quest every 4-5 levels and get some green upgrades.

spend a couple of K on blue lvl85 gear. they will earn that back in no time.

while leveling, just wear whatever drops.

GB'd myself to 83 in full wrathful then bought my dk an early Christmas gift. Full redsteel set and the CoC two handed. He's 85 now purely from gathering and hardly dies.

1-60 autoequip. 60-70 full epic lvl 60 pvp gear/weapon. 70-80 full epic lvl 70 pvp gear. I always run mixed from lvl 1-80 as it is more relyable then ib and pvp gear lasts a long time well leveling.

yea about the same here at 84/85 get a full set of blues gem enchant/reforge them so they look less bottish and bingo

I always just buy 4x20 slot bags, then some random greenies from ah and sometimes random blues, cus auto equip aint working like a charm, but the new plugin Equipshit , should work like a charm
