What's blizzard's way of detecting:

  1. Grinding bots
  2. Quest bots
  3. Profession bots

Also, what happens if someone reports you while botting?

I'm just tying to get some answers since i'm a bit confused on how things work :)

Thanks guys

I have to ask - is it safer for example to bot 12hrs on the same acc with one char, and 12hrs with another char in the same acc instead of one char 24hrs? :P

OFC not safe. I once tried, botting 24/7 and effect is :

Code:
Greetings xxx.

My name is Game Master xxx, and i have reviwed your suspension appeal that you sent to us.

And going over the logs sadly I can see that you used a 3rd party program to automate your chaacters - xxx + xxx => both ore+herb botting - actions and movements. This is not allowed under any circuimstamces within the game, such is your case the permanent suspension will not be overturned.

omg, stop making these threads xD..!

the answer is as simple as the question, if you bot..
there IS a CHANCE of you getting caught, don't bot if you can't stand the fact of a ban on that acc..

you can bot for 24 hours, and not get banned..
and u can bot for 5 mins and get banned..

i have botted 24 hours a day, for 2 weeks, without being banned. i only have 3 accounts, one of them i have botted with since glider came out, at least 12-18 hours a day. back then i guess it was a litle safer. id guess, keep it to 12-18 hours a day per account, to make sure theres some "sleep" time in there.

You can ofcourse do it 24/7, but the risk is higher, its all up to you how you want to do it. but you cannot blame anyone when or if you get banned, it states clearly that you have to use it on your own risk, blizzard clearly tells third party software will get you banned.

Either you only use combat bot, or sit next to it, watching anime or a movie, or some tv-shows or play at kongregate. that way youre a lot safer anyway.

.they could close the entire game tomorrow & be well within their rights to do so..

In Us maybe, in EU nah, most countries here have laws that overrides their agreement, so they would have to pay back the monthly fee?s.
