what not i think we all can agree blizzard scanned us and nailed us, done.

so you found a way, when they updated and clearly state now that they scan us, to
hide the bot from this scan.

I hope u test it for weeks before u release anything tbh. But im sure you will do what is needed.

Do you understand ANYTHING about coding/dev? If you did, you'd understand how 2 or 3 people can release something will full devotion in under 48 hours.

i dont, but i also dont understand if they caught us like the way they did, assumably with a scan. How the hell can u hide that. Devotion or not, i dont see how u can.

makes me think the above indeed. but wait, thinking anything else then what the majority is screamning here is weird. hmkai !

I've written a couple low end aimbot/esp cheats for some FPS games, and when they get detected all I did was change signatures and repack the dll under a different name and change injection methods. I'm not a super developer nor do I claim to be - but I've got the basics.

With honorbuddy, you COULD change sigs and repack, but that would make detection quicker. Once they've pinpointed the weakspot all they have to do change it!

Edit: I'm currently learning python, and I challenge you to find a C# (visual basic) video that explains how it works and what can be done with it - you'll be amazed!

ugh, visual basic... I hate it ;P

Though as you say, resigning, renaming the dll wont do much (atleast for wow) when it comes to bot detection.

I'll just refer to this thread with lots of good bot detection articles and a video about exploitation of mmos.

Did you do no reasearch at all before purchasing? Literally googling "honorbuddy" brings up gaming articles about this whole thing getting blown up.
 
To Tony and all the HB devs, I hope you guys succeed in plugging whatever proverbial hole Blizzard found in the program.

Seriously, I can't effectively play at all now that HB has been (temporarily?) defeated. Without something to automate my rotations I feel a loss of that "spark" to play.

I concur with TheHammer. Honorbuddy must be secure so that we can all continue to have fun. I want to play with that awesome T17-4pc-715-ring-wearing BM Hunter I've got again.

Seriously, you guys made playing the game better. If only Blizzard thought about integrating you guys rather than trying to fight you. WoW and HB combined would be unstoppable.

I've thought the same thing. Why allow people to buy your bot without a warning that it's not functioning? You shouldn't let people buy it when you have no idea when it's going to be back up.

This is not different to all other downtimes, happened in the past years. After patches and expansions, the Bot was always having downtimes from a few hours to 2-3 days with minor patches to 7-10 days with huge patches and expansions.
So suspending sales in these days? It is non sense.

Oh , so this downtime is no different from a patch or expansion downtime? So what you are saying is the bot should be back up in 7-10 days as you stated ? Interesting.

This is great news, but I'm also concerned (as many are) that it will be crushed once more. Be it soon after release, or years down the track. Should I be concerned?

Earlier I suggested that Blizzard and HB make peace, and that the former should integrate the latter into the game to crush bots once and for all. That suggestion was met with harsh rejection by forum posters followed by a deletion. :(

Right I understand they're detection method is probably way more sophisticated than a free FPS - but at the end of the day, there's always a way around the law :)

I'm using two other programs atm, but they are not as good as HB. More so, they lack the community and scale of HB (no CR's, only a few profiles etc). So I hope you're not kidding!
And take your time too... going on holiday May 31st so it'll probably be up when I get back two weeks after :D (#hopeful).
