Honorbuddy Beta Builds

New beta build is up with lots of changes. We would like to hear your feedback.

While using the newest build of HB Beta, while questing I continue to get a message saying, "Selecting first reward as the QuestCache seems messed up and contains no questreward choices but we have questrewards to choose from." I continue to receive this after I followed ChinaJade's Help Desk instructions on deleting all caches (HB Cache, WoW cache, Blizzard cache, etc) and clearning CompiledAssemblies along with all the other bits and bobs to try and alleviate errors with HB. I don't know what else to do since I've done a clean install, cleared all caches, restarted HB and WoW, and yet I still continue to get this error while running Questing Bot.

This may fix it but its worth a try. Try run as administrator
 
@kiddomarc -- Yeah, I always run WoW and HB as administrator. I have the shortcut set to run them as admin by default, but I also right-click on them and choose 'Run as Administrator'. It's a habit I have to run everything as admin. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Edit: For some reason I can no longer reply or reply with quote; also, when clicking on multiple posts to reply with quote, I can choose one, and then any subsequent posts I click on cause me to automatically reply, leaving out all other posts. So, I'm forced to reply like this. My apologies.
 
It's not at all annoying to read a looong beta update text for the update of the new beta in 30 second chunks.

Then I came up with the idea to select all text...

Ctrl + A

Then ctrl + v into notepad and read it there....

Was run BGbuddy for 2 days. Its work perfect for my DK Frost. But one problem: sometimes its go just round and do nothing. Its look strange from if other players see it.
 
I had quite a few problems with the "InteractWith" in the .199

Questbot:
When having two quests to handin to the same character it kept looping around not handing in any of them. Helping it with handing in one of them solved the problem.

It did not understand to handin the 4 quests ending with "Fractured Forces" in jade forrest. It just kept killing Dalgan and Bellandra Felstorm. This could of course be a problem with Kicks profile but it seems unlikely that this wasn't fixed before then. What was working that has never been before is killing the green blobs to free the captured ones in the same area. The green non hostile enemies have alway been a problem before.

Copy over your HB\Dungeon Scripts folder. For some reason, the 199 beta did not ship with a Dungeon Scripts folder.

EDIT: Also need to copy over your HB\Default Profiles\Dungeonbuddy folder

looks like the threw a ninja patch into the works both beta and release isnt working

Thanks for your reply as devs don't seem to be in need to give support anymore. That worked.

May i remind you on the fact that this is BETA ?

The claim that we decided to not give support any more is rubbish.
All Scripts and files will be there for the next stable release, no worries

Laria, I see his point on this. There were updates to Dungeonbuddy in the OP which would indicate that some of the scripts had been updated too. But they were not included in the beta download. And when he asked both here and in the DungeonBuddy thread, he received no reply from the devs. A simple "we forgot to include the scripts in the beta download" would have been nice.

He has also posted logs here and in the PB thread to try and see what's going on with that botbase. If you want us to help test beta builds it would be nice to at least see some dialogue from the devs, instead of "here you go, it's a beta so there's no support". At least an acknowledgement of bug reports and a simple "we'll look into it" is better than complete silence.

Anyway, can you confirm if there were updates to the DB scripts? And if so, is there a possibility we could get them as a separate download? Thanks.

, this is Raphus answer on missing dungeon scripts. Yes , it was forgotten.

@laria: I really appreciate the work here, do not misunderstand me. but sometimes it's frustrating, when you post bug reports and logs and there is zero feedback.
 
They should be downloaded by the bot or you can copy them from three stable release
