2 patches in a day???

well i'm a dev as well, this is not even an acceptable programming practice.

"like, lets build this patch and deploy it without testing *deploys the patch* *few minutes passed* oops we found a bug we didn't test that patch *grin*, lets patch again"

True, but when you're a company as big as Blizzard. You kind of get to do what you want because people are still going to pay for your product.

Would you really make a fuss to install a 5mb patch unless it stopped you botting?
I wouldn't.

Yeah... we need that =\ 2 minutes have gone and we still have no updates =p

Remind me what PTR is for again?

Blizz wants to push the quick content patches, but this has to be getting embarrassing for them.

I don't believe the conspiracy theories that this is about botting - but as it's been said, 5mb is only inconvenient for us botters.

In the age of broadband it's easy for a company to release before it's finished. Blizzard definitely isn't the first to commit this sin. Companies have been doing this for years now, and we keep on paying for rushed products.

Remember when games came on CD 's and "when it's finished" actually meant something?

There are 55 "guests" browsing this thread. I wonder if any of them are Blizz employees just waiting for the right moment to drop another ninja patch on us.

no because they still sucked and needed work done we just didn't complain because they were single player and we had no options

hello, may i ask why the build number is bellow the current one when it seems that this build is the "next" one comming?
and here are a few things annoying me:

the monk spells rotation are messed up for example it keeps using zen pilgrimage when in combat untill it reachs half cast bar and it never aoes no matters how many mobs it has.

other thing is i can run the bot at 60 fps at ultra but to run the bot i have to be in low or it will keep freezing.

you have to look closer, version number has .5200.123 , in this example 5200 is the revision number of the source and 123 is the number of the beta build.
Beta and stable "builds" are two diffrent series, so a .5200.123 beta is more recent code than 5100.556 stable/test
