Honorbuddy Bans Statement

Not sure if Im perma banned or just got the 6m suspension. On my account it just states banned but I got an email from blizzard saying: Account Action: 6-Month Suspension. So is it just a suspension or?
 
Yea, I got hit today, 10yr old account, but we will see... I made an appeal.
 
i checked my emails. total of 4 accounts. three get a 6m suspension. two of those were on day 22 of a grim batol suicide account. the third was made to transfer gold. all three were 'exploitation'

the 4th, no ban. was botting a dk through outlands at the same time i was running grim batol. and it was the 'holds the gold' account.

so hb may be detected, but it wasnt detected today.

I'm hoping you're right.. I started botting on my wifes account yesterday, its unbanned as of now. Do you have any idea the hell i will pay if she loses a 8yr old account.

That she didnt know i "borrowed".
 
Hey bossland, just wondering why i was banned for "exploitation" rather than "3rd party software"

at last all my 4 accounts ban for me after 9 years that's my Retirement from wow so i say thanks blizzard to make it happen for me and thanks Honorbuddy for making time for my kids
 
I think this may be my fault....today wow crashed on me so i uninstalled it. When I tried to reinstall, the update client wouldn't work. I started a live chat with blizzard where they asked me for my msinfo.txt. Within that text there is information that may have been useful for blizzard in detecting Honorbuddy.
If one of the developers wants my msinfo.txt , please let me know.
 
Thank you so much for letting me enjoy the game for the last couple of years with out HB I would have quit a long time ago any ways.
 
My question is which I'm sure has been answered many times is. Since they banned my account will they know if I create a new one and bot on that On same up address? Do they keep an eye on the up addresses of the banned accounts to see if new accounts were made and to watch them closely ?

inorite, first email i checked was the wifes. id be homeless if her account got banned, not divorced, but homeless for a bit, im sure.
 
I would love to have a camera on LFR/raids after this and see people fail and understand how much those "cheaters" helped them clear the raid.. Anyway, my 10 years old account got banned and is time to move on...I wouldn't play wow without the bot after WotLK honestly, so I don't regret using the bot. I had good times using it. On to FF14 now (until I get banned there too lol).
 
I chuckle at those who blame bots for poor BGs. I don't know what "bots" they encountered but HB topped the charts for me more times than I can count.
 
I think what "killed" the bot (for now) is how the thing goes out of hand in pvp arena/BG/RBG. Maybe, if you can recover from this, you should not support pvp.

From my point of view. I knew the risk with botting. I'am Busted and banned. End of story. I'am not sad at all. I'am just grateful because I would have stop playing this game years ago anyway.

Even if it's "only" 6 month i will come back at all. Blizzard caught us but at what cost? A lot of guild struggling at the moment. This ban wave if the nail in the coffin for lot of them.

Anyway Blizzard loosing more than me in the process. There are many good games to play (THE WITCHER!!!!). No more money from me for Blizzard ^^
 
I think this is just the same statement that was posted in 2011 edited with the dates. 6 months from now is not in december but november.
 
i just lost 2 acc my main and other one my main acc i play till lvl 60 have rank 14 hunter other one is np but but main its burn :(
