I agree that PvP bots are the main reason why people are so pissed against bots. They openly ruin the gameplay for others, which is a fact. I never bot BG's anymore. Although I have done so in the past (just to get some gear on my toons). I saw how much it affected others and the bots were simply ganking people instead of actually playing the BG. I have lost countless of times due to bots, which made me quit BG's in general. Losing 24/7 is not fun. Also arena bots...I hate you. (No offense) but playing arena by hand is just my thing.

I honestly doubt people are more pissed about BG bots than about people using CRs in Arena. Everyone and their grandmother was using CRs in Arena lately, I could even imagine this being one of the main reasons for Blizzard to start a banwave of this size at this very time. Using CRs in Arenas has influenced the ladder like crazy currently. People who usually wouldn't get any higher than 1800 Rating suddenly played on 2500, and people who usually are pretty good couldn't compete with the good CRs. Arena rating was messed up like nothing else in the game.

Looks like I reactivated my account at just the right time! I deactivated it for about 2 months, and just started playing again with a token. Punch Blizzard in the snatch for this BS!

maybe not on the fact you're running 32 bit alone... but considering the game default is 64bit and to run 32bit you have to go into settings and change it / manually set up 32 bit usage. it sure narrows down the amount of people

let's say

database query 7.1 million accounts - 1.8 million come up using 32 bit

they have already narrowed down a massive portion of the player base to investigate.

You can "let's say" anything, but try to install World of Warcraft on 32bit system to realize you would not have a 64bit executable as default, which is more than common sense!

But after short google search, it seems that worldwide 32bit systems are much more spread than most forum users here were ever aware:

Getting global conclusions after comparing just a single example is a no-no. If you wanna be objective, try to see the whole picture, by analyzing more global data, instead of assuming from personal experience:

I say take your time and give us something workable for more than 48hrs....

Ps. I would not put it pass Blizz to do another banwave shortly after release of accounts they held back on to make us think its a new banwave. Lets all be mindful of this seeing as their end goal is one of two directions....1 actually find an unstoppable way of detection or 2 destroy Bossland and HB rep that no one wants to buy it.
