I feel bad for Cokx and Toizi with their crs that were just amazing for arenas, havent used them really but I was planning on it.
I don't know what to think, i've been wanting to use the feature but im not sure if you guys put finger on the right problem. I dont think arenas got a lot of us banned, I only used trials to see and I did not get banned perrsonally. I hope you made the right choice there.....

Lol, its going to be hard coded into the honorbuddy system, no one will get around it without a ridiculous amount of reverse engineering.
And as Vitalic has already stated on his site he is only going to support the bg and pve bot going forward.

Man I'm glad I never devoted my time and energy to developing CRs...but I guess the most popular one for arena wasn't even a part of these forums. Would suck having hundreds of Paypal transactions reverted in your face. Now I'm just regretting even paying Blizzard for another account and WoD lol

What about all combat routines people have paid for ? lol you telling me OH BECAUSE BOSSLAND NEVER SAID IT WAS FOR ARENA. Well guess what they ALLOWED SUCH ROUTINES BE TO SOLD ON THEIR STORE!!!!! THAT IS CONDONING USE IN THE ARENA.

That's on the CR developers, not Bossland. Creating and selling PVP routines are supported, just not in arena's. Your choice to use them in Arena's was clearly your choice, to use them in an unsupported way.

My bet is that blizzard has made deals with bossland to allow the bot on condition it is not used for unfair advantage (eg: arenas)
Next up they will only allow combat routines and disallow movement.

We know that they have not found a way around detection, they have no idea how blizzard is detecting them, that's why i made this assumption, don't criticize others unless you yourself have a better solution, go troll in durator.

we made the specific decision only to protect our userbase and its non-negotiable,in case you dont agree you can try make your own bot and support whatever mode you like

Good decision Bossland. It was the PVP players who made an issue of HB. They literally shamed Blizzard into taking action against us with the number of posts and videos regarding PVP botting.

No PVP bots = 99% less complaints from players.

Disabling any kind of automovement in BG would be nice... No more afk in battlegrounds.... Still CRs should be working

What did cause ban are dozens of hours farming materials / gold + all night doing bg / ashram.

No one really knows, comments like this are just inflammatory. Based on the WoW forums it's clear that videos on youtube of BG's where 10 bots are running on top of each other were a significant issue. I rarely saw a post about a bot ninja a node of ore.

I always though that was gold farming and selling the real problem with HB, personally I never use the bot for farming or for arenas, I was always using CRs to destroy BGs, that was my addiction and some old raids for transmog.
Is this the right call? not to allow people to do some PvP.... I don't know. I hope for the best and I feel for those guys that were having some fun in arenas.

that becouse your a china farmer

and gain money from your farming but since no pvp means ppl will refund and no more players will buy HB AND I AM SURE 80% FROM botters are pvp and u wont losse anything since u a farmer

I bet the majority of the people in this thread supporting this decision all use HB for primarily PvE. Why should they care? It's not effecting them what so ever. All while us Pvpers are up shits creek without a paddle. Would love to see their reactions if the roles were reversed.
