[Official] Honorbuddy and Arena

And could you tell us what changed your mind ? I think its a bad decision and if it is to push bot sales then ...

You've never provided "Official Support" for arenas... and first you used your excuse as "It's something we've never wanted to see happen" but now you're going to allow it? Teh eff?

shame on the developers for allowing HB in arena... PLEASE reconsider!

HB in rated pvp ruins the game experience for hundreds of thousands of players who play this game for the player vs player competition. player vs player, not player vs combat routine, player vs kickbot, etc. bots in rated pvp ruins it for everyone involved, including the garbage players who are depriving themselves of the opportunity to get better by scumming over other players who earn their rating legitimately

no other use of HB attracts anywhere near as much hatred and contempt from the playerbase. the WoW arena forums are already aware that this restriction has been lifted and are already begging Blizzard to take action. this is such a poor decision

I have been very thankful for HB as a tool that has allowed me to automate the mindless grind aspects of this game that are better suited to a computer or some lower form of intelligence, but HB has no rightful place in arena

PvP is a zero sum game, PvE is not. If you use HB to farm gold for instance, you are not taking gold away from another player. However In PvP, the only way to gain rating is to take it from another player by beating them in combat. Is it really the intention of the developers that HB be used as a tool to steal from other players?

You can't blame the botbase for unhuman behaviour of a routine, can you?
So far i haven't been banned since BC and since i use HB, so "banned every 2 months" is really bad luck.
 
Hahahah I'm so happy about this. I'm laughing at the fanboys.


PS: I've been botting CR on my main account since mmo glider, never have they banned me.
 
This is so dumb, they are going to do another wave now and botting is unsafe again.

I don't get why people are so greedy and dumb, if everyone just stuck to doing leveling and solo PVE stuff then Blizzard would leave us alone.

It was a pretty clear message from blizzard to cut that shit out in PvP.

Blizzard can ALWAYS detect botting, ALWAYS. There is no way for it to be safe, just low key enough they dont care.

It is obvious why they have changed their minds... it isn't because they want to, it is because a third party plugin was released last week that enabled wow in arenas... I am guessing they couldn't stop it, so instead of allowing another company to profit from their product, they reversed their decision.
