Honorbuddy 2.0.0.3881 Discussion Thread

One thing I've noticed with this release is that when my pet attacks a mob and gets aggro, my toon will run to the next hotspot acting like it isn't in combat. And I mean far enough away that my pet despawns.

I see all the support team is avoiding any response to the poor navigation is this release or even making a statement if they are working on it or not, if they have acknowledged there's an issue or not

If you're not going to read the thread; please, don't bother posting. Next time you lash out like this again; without bothering to read, you'll be on a 2 week mute. I'm tired of watching everyone get into hissy fits, if they can't even read THE PREVIOUS PAGE IN THE THREAD.

Well AB uses HB's navigator on the ground at digsites, the new Experimental path finding is VERY experimental and i suggest evrybody turns it off at the moment until it's less experimental.
AB is only crappy because of that, if you turn it off you should be fine, we are gonna make it false by default in the next release.
Intent of it was to make it cut corners smoother and less bumpy but i guess it needs a bit more testing.
And to evrybody who reads this: just turn it off for now until it get's better :)

Disable the Use Experimental Path Following option in the General Settings tab if you are unhappy about it
@UndiluteD: Have to check that tomorrow it's pretty late here but im sure if it's serious enough we could hotfix it tomorrow. :)

Are you serious - the previous page of this thread has 2 posts from nesox regarding the issue. He also says that it's pretty late where he is, and that if required, they will look at a hotfix tomorrow. Maybe you'd like them to spoon feed you a little more than that?

Bot ignores threat and moves on to another mob. I was gonna post this on the Bug Tracker, but just thought maybe it was something simple enough that could be hotfixed.

P.S.

This does this usually when there is more then one mob attacking, and I read someone else on the thread having the same issue. I reran to test this again to be sure it wasn't something on my end, and I ran it with the previous Honorbuddy version just to be absolutely sure. Same settings as I would normally have.

My own. It's just a remake of Hawker's BM, but it doesnt seem to be the issue because it worked fine with the previous version.

Just downloaded and was running the lastest version of HonorBuddy (v2.0.0.3881). One thing I noticed immediately was erradict movement in the new version (V2.0.0.3881) during use of Archeology Buddy.

Serveral times after mounting, my flying mount would not move upward to actually fly but instead would seem to be running as a ground mount. I continued to monitor the mounting/flying issue for about twenty minutes and noticed it to continue at several of the dig sites.

I have not seen this issue in the previous version of HB (Ver 2.0.0.3804).

I am currently back to using v3804 for Archeology Buddy at this point.

Is anyone else seeing the same issue?

I would like to say that both HonorBuddy and GatherBuddy are fantastic applications. I dont' know how you guys do it but, keep up the EXCELLENT work!!!

Im having the same problems. I would go into flight form then try and fly straight into the ground for a minute or 2, then it would do a crazy move then just sit in the air then drop me to my death out of flight form. Im back to the previous version running archaeology buddy.

I've turned off experimental pathing.....the navigation is still exceptionally poor. My toon is running in circles, into the water and running off cliffs. Awesome

Same issue for me.

we have made some changes on experimental pathing and this can give problems
like Nesox said its more experimental that it should :(

Sadly for me the new HB is buggy as can be :(

The navigation on my archaeologybuddy is just awful, it takes 40 minutes to survey one digsite.
Also on a questing toon(hunter). it keeps walking out of combat while the pet has 2 mobs on him, and running into more mobs where she ends up dying.

Gonna try out PVP and GB2 in a little while.

I am experiencing the same problem on my Warlock using the default Warlock CC. The previous version of HB also using the default CC works fine but this one if a second mob is aggrod after initiating combat with another mob the bot kills the first then simply continues on its way ignoring the second mob.

It's not just experimental pathing that is performing poorly, it's all forms of navigation. Just wanted to clarify that to the devs since I see a lot of them suggesting to disable experimental pathing.
