Well, I've just refreshed the forum, and I've seen all of these ban reports.
I should say that HB is fucked.

all bans for abuse of the economy mate, so HB is fine, just those that have sold alot of auctions/trade large somes of old etc, calm down! :)

This is not true! Some accounts who got banned didn't have many auctions at all and were quite fresh!

you joined this forum 2months ago, please stop freaking out, hell im one of the people who got banned and im not worried, ive been botting for 5years, this is not a ban wave, trust me, you would know if it was a ban wave, you wouldnt even be able to get on the forum!

They also banned two farming bots from me. Reason is abuse of econmy. Both Chars never sold any piece in the AH. My bank char, which roughly makes 50k to 100k each day. Did not get banned. Strange. Well I have seen it coming because both bots run like 24/7, most of the time afk. But the reason blizzard gives me is simply wrong.

I could be wrong but I thought I heard somewhere that blizz has implemented a "node watching" thing now that notices how much you pick up when mining/herbing etc Like I said I could be wrong but that might explain why botting farmers are being banned..

Which "same way" are we talking about? Please explain.

Today 11AM GMT (if im correct with my timezone) a lot of accounts got hit and many of them were accounts who used other botting software & never had any relations with HonorBuddy. Same reason: Abuse of Economy, same time (my friend had 7/14 banned).

The only thing you should is being slapped in the face. XD

I'm still botting away.

From what I can see, most people who are banned have been farming for a while.

When you say "KEEP CALM & CARRY ON" - what do you have to back it up? My SoR Seller from US said that they had to stop selling SoR accounts for a month because all of them got banned as soon as they were merged to battle net accounts.

Ofcourse I will "carry on" (running my remaining 8 accounts atm), but how can I expand when there is such high risk? I will have to wait and see what happens within the next two weeks.

The question always is what people really have been banned for. Some say they just used hb, but in reality they used hacks and shit.

It is always the same. Several people get banned in a close range of time and people freak out.
I just checked every thread and most of them where botting up to 20 hours a day. Then i suspect they never changed the profile and here you go. Someone is pissed off seeing you all day flying around getting all herbs and ores and they report you.

Than you will get banned and people come up with crazy ideas like banwaves, node counter or whatever.

I love seeing the bans roll in as everyone is quick to blame the software rather than their own inadequate setup and ability to do research into anything before diving off that plank into the sea of botting.

such a high risk? there is always a high risk, no higher risk than normal! HB is not detectable, like i said, if it was, all of us would have been banned..

if you were botting for 20 hours a day a year ago, 6months ago, a week ago, you carried exactly the same risk of being banned as you do today..

its not a difficult concept for people to understand really..botting is never safe.. it never has been, if you don't feel safe don't bot, but you have exactly the same risk of being banned today as you ever have.. your all just freaking out because people are screaming ban wave..

I think they have all bot accounts detected somehow, but they just ban random % of them. Ofcourse some people use hacks and shit, but really a lot who did get banned, didn't use any of that.

Oh well.. shit happens ^^ I expected to be banned anyway, not sad about it or anything like that (lost 10 accounts today). The question is - whether we will be able to bot reliably in the future or not? If it's the latter, then it's GG, find another game.

keep calm and explain pls
btw got this mail only on 1 account
but just weird
first i get a perma ban notification, a few mins later i get third party?
