In fact, I was the one who originally made the argument not to include any form of arena bot in HB itself. (This was close to 5 years ago now)

We simply haven't taken any steps to ensure HB doesn't work in arenas until now. And taking those steps was a multi-day discussion with all the developers. Not a single one of us could find a solid reason to keep allowing HB to work in arenas. The very small amount of our users that we annoy, don't even come close to outweighing the current benefit of disallowing arenas. If things change, arenas may be allowed again in the future, but for now, this is how it is.

We don't making sweeping decisions like this in 20 minutes "just because we feel like it". We argue about things constantly, especially big changes that affect a large number of customers, and developers.

All PVP-based CRs still work exactly as they did before. The only difference, is that you can't use them in arenas now.

I take it that the reason arena use of the bot is getting banned, is a course of action you've taken caused by the recent banwave. What will be the pariah the next time Blizzard decides to give ya a kick in the nuts?

Besides, you say you never had arena support, fine. Yet the use of HB in RBG's and BG's are still up for debate (per you own statement) - that's the whole basic idea you've built this bot around being up for discussion on whether to exclude or not. I honestly just don't find the "we never meant for arena to be a part of the bot, now we're just enforcing it" to be quite adequate. But then again why would my opinion matter. :)

Ok - we get it, but this is not just about you, but what is best for the community in total. You can still use the routines for other PvP content.

Apoc you state that you don't support them, but yet sell them over store and earn 30% of all sales regarding it, i feel this is twofaced as hell. Return the Money gained from the pvp profiles then, if you are discontinuing it, but you wont because you are greedy and that's the reason you Close the Arena to, because you are greedy and afraid that blizzard will break you, and you won't put up a fight, Coward and greedy.

I would not be surprised if blizzard contacted bossland regarding the arena bots, and is trying to come to an agreement... as botting is beneficial for both Bossland and Blizzard, just not the Arena part for blizzard.

And every HUGE sups lost the blizzard STOCK in nasdaq get hit..
 
While your removing stuff from the bot. Please remove automated movment from random bg's. Have never had so mutch fun in random bg's in 3 years since the bot went down.

Blizzard never lost any money on their stock because they already explained to shareholders it would happen.. also WoW is less than 50% of their revenue down from 90% in 2011. Also it's better to ban 100k botters than lose 2 million people because bots are ruining your game. Except next time there won't be 100k botters because most people aren't resubbing so you'll just punish hard core botters.

Banning a bunch of bots is like putting a band-aid on bullet hole. I would love to see how many people actually left wow because of bots. As long as they keep adding mundane boring features that drive away their legit players and give a huge advantage to players automating them they will keep losing subs.
 
This is just outrageous ! Its a bloody bot.... All of a sudden you have a MORAL ????? I mean wt.......

Removing CR in arena is just a kiss-ass move, nothing else.. Why don't you shut down the bot entirely, because how about the impact of the gold inflation over the years?? How about the hours us botters have ruined from the manually farmers? When we just grind an area 24/7?? How can we live with ourselves ???... Better shut down the entire organization...

Not to mention all the money I've pumped into CR's haha..... Im out, done byebye... Hope a new provider will pop up soon, this is stupid.

This has nothing to do with morals, getting rid of the reason your user base got screwed is a business decision.

There was no sole reason for the banwave sure, but it is obvious to anyone that pvp automation is the feature that raises the bot's profile the most with legit players.
Blizz has shown to be really ticked off by arena cheating in the past and present. That is the whole reason the buddy team didn't really condone this to begin with, they should've been stricter in enforcing their own rules though.
 
Fact is (and they said this themselves) they have no idea what triggered the banwaves. But they need something to reassure the HB community, so why not blame it on something that (1), yes admittedly, is a thorn on the side of Blizzard (but so is this entire bot) and (2) is expendable because "it was never supported by bot".

Blizz stopped HB with a banwave of WoW accounts and 6months suspension. Now they wait and see what will HB do next. So HB stop HB+Cr's for arena because they are trying to stop poking Blizz and upsetting other WoW players. What about HB members that bought your product. Only thing now next its gonna be a case of PVP Botters vs PVE Botters. PVP people who has paid cr's for the purpose they are using the bot is feeling being screwed over. Only thing that can happen now people are gonna get childish and report people in PVE content of botting via raids,questing,farming,ah whatever. Look at the posts people have made. Maybe dev can maybe think of alt bot to accomadate the paid cr's to use in arena. Just a thought.
 
aye, HB would make enemies of a huge chunk of their userbase, feeling cheated and screwed over, alot of People will be taking it out on other botters, attempting to hurth their business i Guess...
