HB ARCHIVES: TheBrodieman's Profile Compendium--DO NOT DELETE

Tony, or another mod can you please lock this thread and explain Brodieman is MIA thanks. Chance of the plugin working with .714 and will only get worse with future releases.

The profiles are still working flawlessly even without using the plugin.

1. Go to your \Default Profiles\TMBC\ folder. That's where all the quest profiles are stored.
2. Run them with the plugin disabled on the specific dailies you need.
3. Once done, change profile, and rinse repeat.
3. Profit.

The profiles still works, except for the plugin. Which in the first place has too many bugs to start with. It was a nice initiative, but too bad Brodie went AFK.

There's no need to close the thread, everyone could still profit from the profiles.

Ok, well leave this comment at the bottom and still close the thread. Once a page rolls over people still ask why it doesn't work.

The daily profile is filled with flaws, dont work whatsoever
It skips tons of quests, it suddenly decide to do nothing, trying to restart makes it just stand there and trying to heartstone,the profile changer is a joke and not coded properly.
and so on and so on, Dailiy experience couldnt be wors, better to do them manually.

And no i dont have a log to attach, since it wouldnt help the problem anyway, [InteractWith-v1129(warning)] Cast of Astral Recall interrupted. what you can have.


Fix the got damn profile or take it off the site, since atm its completly useless

PS: as of speaking, the profile just wanted to RUN from Stormwind to whatever, its atm on a ground mount in Redridge mountain heading east...WTF is wrong with this porly maintained and coded profile?
 
It is still good for those people who can get it to work. Better to leave it open if someone decides to come in and take over and clean up the bugs.

The project works this way: you select which sub-profiles you want to run in the plugin , let's say tillers and order of the cloud serpent.
Plugin loads the tiller profile and runs it in questbot until it is finished, the profile then calls the hearthstone or similiar abilities.
The plugin sees that cancels the cast and loads the next profile in order and executes that.
So if it calls the hearthstone first, it might be under the impression you are finished with the current profile. Did you clear your hb cache first , so that we can rule that out?

HB does not handle characters being on the wrong continent for the profile at the moment. It is the users responsibility to place the char on the right part of the world before starting the profile.

You might still want to attach that log, because by default HB doesn't print every action to the hb window (to keep it clean), the logfile on the other hand might still have more details.

" you select which sub-profiles you want to run in the plugin , let's say tillers and order of the cloud serpent." i load the plugin and select what factions the bot should do, and it just skips most and heartstones, if i load specific it?s random if it works or not..still skips alot of quest.

I was in Pandaria, and it decided to go to Stormwind and walk all the way up to Undercity, now that is not an user end problem, its clearly error within the profile or the bot.

I was reading the log file, and no, there is nothing that can give some light on the problem that occurs, either its stuck on a quest with a 8 second timer counting down, continuesly and never proceeds, or it just walk randomly to nothing and get stuck
Or it does SOME quest at 1 or 2 factions then do the above.
Either this "compendium" should be updated or fixed, or should be transfered into archive since it clearly dont work

but i dont have every archment oft that :/
 
when i run the coin farming, it runs to the chest then sits there for 5mins after opening saying "no viable mobs in area", then "moving to hunting ground way point".....then does nothing...

Bot stopping! Reason: Bot stop requested by Halt quest behavior.

Been running this for a while and never ran into this problem. I do not have any quests in the quest log. Anyone have any idea how I can over come this or fix it? I have searched and tried to find a solution on my own for several hours. I have not come up with anything.

i have no quests in log.

Anyone else noticed issues with the Tillers farm plant/harvest profiles not working correctly since 718?

Mine have been working flawlessly for months, and now hangs during an "InteractWith" trying to interact with stuff that's no longer there (seems mainly alluring and wiggling that's effected). Just see it saying something about "hunting ground centre" and sits doing nothing.

Anyone else getting these issues?

same issue here...

Hope Brodie just needs a break and will be back, soon :( But I guess there are other reasons for his absence.
 
Damn was really hoping it was just me and a fresh install and cache clear might fix (been away since 718 release so only it access via iPhone teamviewer)

I noticed there have been changes to InteractWith behaviour, and I guess some other things, it's apparently trying to interact with stuff that's not there despite WaitForNPCs being false.

How annoying.
 
Tried running timeless isle coin farm and hes blowing through MOBS like their not there. Just runs to the pickup and interacts and pull countless mobs.

If im not mistaken, its intended for first time, until he collects the chests.
So either collect chests manually, or let it run until its finished with them.

Check older posts...

It is currently set to "Attack only those attacking me". If the bot is not stopping to attack agro'd mobs, that is possibly an issue with InteractWith or your CR.

If i set it to kill everything on the way, it may take anywhere from 5-15 minutes between each chest...with a lot of back tracking...and possible blacklisting.
