HB ARCHIVES: TheBrodieman's Profile Compendium--DO NOT DELETE

Sure :) I've used this plugin for months and am using HB for over a year now, I never had such an issue before.
 
I would like to use the timeless isle profiles to level gear up (instead of queuing for raids first), but each time the toon encounters an elite, it dies, due to low ilevel. Any solution for that? I looks like a chicken-egg problem!
 
you could run dungeons and scenarios with lazyraider/tyrael or with dungeonbuddy to get some quality gear to help with those monsters

I know exactly what you mean. Timeless Isle gets you ilvl 496 gear, but with fully gemmed, enchanted and reforged 496 gear already you get killed frequently. Chicken-egg problem indeed. You need higher ilvl or a group to farm there. So I farm it with a 510+, to get gear for other toons of myself.

Too bad. It takes forever to get good gear thru raids. I hoped, by grinding the timeless isle, I could skip right to the better raids. A grinding profile that would avoid elites would not be so bad, even if it would take much longer.
 
Let me say this once, and once only.. Level up a Frost DK, once 90, go blood, head to timeless. Do the prereq quests, collect the chests. You WILL get enough BoA Epics to get your DK more or less invincible.

Turn him loose with Shaohao rep grind for a couple of hours, you will get enough BoA epics to equip all your alts, not to mention that you get shitloads of Timeless coins, head to Chest merchant and open chests, you will get more BoA Epics, burdens and Bonkers...

Easy peasy..... Its what I do on all new acounts, hunter to 55, roll a dk and rock'n'roll!
 
any one else have a problem with [A Feast for the Senses] not actually fishing just casting and not catching
 
I used to use this plugin regularly but lately it just does not work for me. I am not sure what is wrong but I do this:
install a fresh copy of HB. I then download a new BrodiesPlugin and extra to the Plugins folder. I run the Honorbuddy as admin while I am signed on. It detects the BrodiePlugin and updates it . I restart the program and run it again. When I activate the plugin and do something like leveling 1- 90 and start. It just hangs there and never actually does anything.

What could I start looking at?
 
Hi ! I just found out about this great plugin ! It seems really awesome and all, but, I haven't been able to get any success with it.
So far, these are my problems :

  • Timeless coin farm : When going into combat, there is a Medium-High chance of WoW going in "Not Responding" mode when using the Plugin, this does not occure with any other profile i have ever used in these 2 last years.
  • Timeless Monkey Chest opener : It goes to the monkey ( crashes in combat too, so i just took it there ), buys 1 single key, when i had 10k+ coins, opens 1 chest, and just goes on trying each cheast 10 times and black listing it for 3 or 5 minutes
  • Dino Bones Farm : Both Dino and Dinomancers have the same bug, My character just goes south the island and runs in the water and tries to cast a flying mount, enabling Ground mount farm mode, or putting a ground mount ID for both Fly and Ground does not work, everytime he can't cast his flying mount, he goes a little further, up to dieing of fatigue ( i didn't let him)

Well, thats about it, These are the only 4 profiles i tried, and they are all glitchy for me, quite annoying since i respect TheBrodieman's work and these are quite the unique type of profiles.

Hope someone or TheBrodieMan himself can help me !

Here is the log file for Timeless isle coin Farm, it is my most needed profile, and I need to recreate new log files for the other profiles because they got deleted :

I'm having the same issue with the Coin Farming via the plugin. The Warcraft Client stops responding and crashes. Always during combat. I feel better that I'm not the only one.

*UPDATE* Unchecking Framelock option in the HB settings resolved the WoW client crash during Coin Farming for me. Hope that helps.

Nice ! This has worked for me ! Now i'm trying to blacklist the huge golems, but can't seem to make it work; My character is in no way able to solo them, and the bot doesn't jump to avoid the shocks, so he just dies everytime he aggros one, which is quite frequently ^^, anybody found how to ? =)

Can you please start with the SVNs again? It is allot more reliable.
This gets corrupted when updating, and I am unaware of how I need to configure it to work with ARelog.
What is the path to the profiles, really miss the old svn :)
And ofc grate work, love the dailies!

I know Thebordieman is MIA, but do you know if there is anyone updating these? Are these SVNs going to be any newer then what the plugin downloads? I didn't know if maybe someone has access to his SVNs and the community has been updating it in his absence.
 
Hey Brodie, I'm unsure why but whenever I use your plugin or even have the plugin selected even when using other profiles my WoW freezes entirely. Any ideas as to why this is?

Until we find out where Brodieman is, and if he plan on picking up development on the compendium again, the svn stands at its current status, noone will be able to do anything about the current problems unless they can figure out what is wrong and post a "fix" but you will likely have to turn the updaters off if you manuallt upgrade the profiles.

But until anyone identifies the cause of the problems we are all shit out of luck and running these is currently very hit or miss, I just listed the URLs so people can check that they can access them if their updatefunction goes haywire.
 
what i want to know is why does it say profile not found when i hit chest farming (coin spender). before it would just run straight to the monkey because of the chest completion is account not character, even though you can open multiple chests on the same account.
